She nodded. “Not right now, of course… But one day. Yeah. I’d like to do everything with you.”

“That’s good because I want everything with you, too, Noelle Marie Hastings. And one day, I can’t wait to give you my last name, too.” I grinned. “If you want it.”

Noelle’s face spread into another glorious grin. Even though her face was streaked with tears, she was still beautiful. “I do. I think. Want your last name.”

“Good.” I smirked. “Because I want the world to know you’re mine.”

She let her palms run over my shirt. “I might get in my head again—you know. Freaking out. Worrying.” Noelle just bit her lip. “I don’t want to burden you with my problems, but—”

“I’ll always be here for you.” I nodded. “Just like you are for me.” I was sure there would be days where I still wanted to break down, missing my parents. I knew that she would be there for me on those instances as much as I would be there to reassure her that I loved her and would never leave her.

Noelle tugged on my shirt collar and leaned up until her lips touched my ear. “You know… we’ve never been completely alone in my room.” She waggled her eyebrows.

My God, this woman.

“Noelle. Sweetheart. As much as I want to carry you to bed right now and make love to you until we run out of breath, someone could hear. These walls are thin.” And we really don’t want to be caught in your dorm, with all of your students around.

“I guess we’ll have to be really quiet then,” she said, nibbling on my earlobe. “Because I’d very much like you to be inside me, my sweet grumpy professor.”

She cupped my cheek, and then gave a yelp of surprise as I hoisted her up into my arms. “Well, you’ve asked for it now,” I growled, kissing her nose as I carried her to the bedroom.

“Think we can be quiet?” Noelle said, leaning against my chest as I carried her into the bedroom.

I shook my head. “Never. Because I’m afraid you’re stuck with me now, and I intend to show you how much I love you all night long.”

“Good.” Noelle grinned, and I kicked open the door with my foot before closing it behind me.

I dropped her on the bed with a giggle from Noelle, before standing back to pull the shirt off of my body. Her eyes watched me the whole time, never drifting from mine, from my body, as I pulled off my pants and threw them off to the side, clad just in my boxer briefs. I knew she could see my erection—I was hard for her. I was always fucking hard for her.

“My sweet girl,” I said, standing back at the edge of the bed and holding her face in my hands. “I hope you know I’m never going to let you go again.”

“Oh, I’m counting on it,” Noelle said, pressing her lips against mine as I started to tug her sundress off her body.

“I love this little thing,” I said as I pulled it all the way off.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah, but I like it better on the floor.”

I threw the garment on the floor, appreciating Noelle in just her bra and panties. Her voluptuous breasts. Her thick thighs. I liked that she wasn’t a twig, that her body had curves and she knew how to dress them. “My little temptress,” I said, trailing kisses down her neck as I unhooked her bra.

“I like your sweaters, too.” I smirked as I got her bare. “But you in those tiny dresses drives me wild.”

She laughed. “I wore it just for you, you know.” She pulled my head down so our foreheads were resting against each other. “This definitely isn’t how I thought this day was going to go.”

“Unexpected visit from the ex was not on the bingo card?” I gave her a grin as I returned to her bare skin, kissing the top of each of her breasts before I brought a nipple into my mouth.

“Oh,” she moaned.

“Quiet, remember?”

Noelle gave me a devilish smile. “It’s just Haze on the other side of the wall, anyway. And you wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve heard her and Lucas in there.” She giggled. “This feels like payback.”

“Mmm, so you’re saying you want me to make you scream?”

“Just a little.” She wiggled her eyebrows. “Now… Keep doing that.”

I put my mouth back on her nipple. “Like this?” I said, blowing against it softly. She shuddered a little against me.
