I still ignored him.
He stopped after five minutes, but it was only so he could make a call. I crouched at the side of the wall next to the window and glanced to the ground, which was two floors down, far enough away for me to hide from him.
“Tilly...” he said.
I sighed. I never wanted Tilly to be involved. But if Noah thought he could intimidate her, he didn’t know Tilly, and he certainly didn’t know what her pack would do to protect her.
I stayed hidden behind the wall and finally he drove off in his fancy sports car; a car I realised would never suit the large family he planned. But I would have to confront him eventually, but only when I was feeling strong enough. Tell him I was not only married, but I was now bonded.
He was going to go berserk.
I smiled and dragged a splash of lipstick on my lips, and grabbed my keys for a shift in the restaurant.
From tomorrow I vowed to get a new job. It was time to tell Noah to get knotted forever.
And it was definitely time to leave London for good.
