CHAPTER16

JUNIPER

Dex's tongue moves in my mouth and the heat from his skin is too much. I want to be naked, naked with both of them. I want to forget the trouble ahead and drown at this moment. Part of me hates that I want this, that I need this so bad.

I pull my head back.

Dex licks his lips and takes my protests as rejection. He steps back and looks at Aspen before returning his attention to me. His eyes are dark. "You can't have anyone else besides me, Aspen, and Raven. Got it?"

"What?" I say, and for a second, my stomach drops. Raven doesn't want me; he seems to be eager to be away from me. I shake my head, fixing to argue with them, but the words get stuck in my throat.

"You can't give yourself to another man. Not ever. You know that, right?"

"Only us," Aspen adds. "You're ours. All three of us are your Alphas.”

My mouth is dry as I watch Aspen and Dex exchange a look. I want to think this through, but I'm too focused on them and their hands on my body. Each of them pressed up against me.

"I'm Michael's mate and no one else's." My wolf makes the words rip from my throat and I gasp.

Aspen’s fist clench and the muscle in his jaw twitches.

"So you'll wait for him?" Dex growls.

"I-I have to." Tears sting the back of my eyes, my wolf throwing herself against my chest to keep me from giving these men anything else but sex. "He's my fated mate. Y-You know what that means..." I hiccup a sob. "I'm stuck until I figure out how to break a fated mate bond."

The words burn my throat. Both Aspen and Dex's hands drop from my body and I slide down Aspen's chest further into the water.

"Please. I need this," I place my hand on Aspen's breastbone, and turn and do the same with Dex. "I can't promise anything more than right now and the pleasure between us."

"Michael abandoned you." Aspen leans forward, placing his forehead against mine.

"I know..." I close my eyes as tears stream down my cheeks and my throat tightens. "I know."

Dex takes my hand and kisses my fingertips. I open my eyes and the compassion in his gaze has me sucking in a breath. The water ripples around us and it no longer feels as cold as it did. He gives me a small smile before backing away.

Aspen kisses me on the cheek and follows Dex and then they're both gone leaving me alone in the lake, confused and longing.

What have I done?

I have no idea when I started following the guys, I only know I have a strong urge to be near them. For them to see me and want me like I want them and now I've ruined everything.

Aspen

"It's not fair to you, either of you." Juniper's voice trembles as she follows us out of the lake. "But I want you... both of you even though I shouldn't."

Dex wants to argue, and I can feel his wolf pushing him forward.

"I'll be fine. I need this." I need something to hold onto, something to fill the gaping hole in my chest.

I cross the distance between me and Juniper and pull her to me, wrapping my arms around her waist. There's a shift in the air and brings the scent of her arousal.

I growl in approval and I squeeze Juniper's breast and let my fingers slide down the soft flesh to her nipple. The bud is hard and ready, and I roll it between my thumb and finger. She releases a moan.

"I need you, Aspen. And Dex." She nibbles on my neck and grasps my cock in her hot hand. "Right now. I can't wait any longer."

"Let's do this," Dex says, his voice low and filled with longing.
