“Here’s your drinks.” The bartender interrupted us again, but I knew we couldn’t do anything here, so I grabbed all the flutes and walked away before I did something stupid. Not stupid because making out with Callum wasn’t stupid, but something I knew people would talk about and of course I didn’t need my mom and Paul on my tail.

We walked back to the table and distributed the drinks. I sat back down trying to slow my rising libido, but he just sat close to me, with his hand on the back of my chair. He joined the conversation occasionally, as he kept his attention on me as he ran his fingers up and down my back. I knew he was teasing me, and it was working. I was getting worked up over a small touch. It was almost like a promise. Or was I reading into this too much? God, why was dealing with the opposite sex so hard?

“Jane!” someone yelled, pulling me from my thoughts.

Someone startled me and I looked around the table to see who had called me.

“Jane, you need to use the restroom?” Madie looked at me, worried and suspicious.

“Sure.” I smiled, trying not to blush at being turned. I got up from my chair to follow the girls to the bathroom. I turned around to see Callum watching me as I was leaving, making my belly clench in anticipation.

We all walked into the bathroom, that was thankfully empty, doing our business and washing our hands.

“Spill it, Jane.” I looked up from the sink to Madie, looking at me suspiciously.

“Spill what?” I asked, confused, noticing the rest of the girls looking at me expectantly.

“What’s going on?” Madie asked me.

“Um… I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I didn’t know what they were getting at.

“Don’t let Paul get to you. I know you don’t want your brothers to know, even though they should.” Madie looked at me like she knew exactly what was bothering me.

I laughed, surprised because that couldn’t be farther from the truth. They looked at me, confused. “Yeah, that doesn’t even bother me. I mean, it does, but I’m over Paul's bullshit. I can’t change what happened, and that doesn’t mean I have to suffer the rest of my life for it.” After washing my hands, I grabbed a towel to dry them.

“What’s got you so quiet then?” Katherine asked as Sabrinas smiled.

“Oh, nothing.” For the love of god I hope I wasn’t blushing, but the heat started rising in my neck.

Sabrina snorted a laugh. “Are you thinking about your date, Jane?”

I pursed my lips from giving anything away, but I knew I couldn’t hide my blush this time. I wasn’t nearly tipsy enough to be having these conversations with them.

“If I wasn’t engaged, I would think about him too!” Katherine smirked at me. “His whole bad boy, brooding vibe is quite sexy.”

“I don’t know what y’all are talking about.” I walked past them to check myself in the full-length mirror.

“I hope he rocks your world tonight, Jane.” Madie looked at me dead serious. I looked at her in shock because even though we’ve talked about it, it was still shocking to hear her talk that way. Especially since I was married to her brother.

“Madie!” I finally came to my senses.

“He looks like he knows the way around a vagina.” Katherine nodded her head.

“He definitely looks like he will give you some toe curling orgasms,” Sabrina chimed in as well.

“I’m not doing this with you guys.” My cheeks continued to get red.

“Oh, come on, it’s girl talk and I know you think it’s too soon, but it’s been nine months and you deserve to let go for a moment.” Madie looked serious.

“Whatever you do behind closed doors is your business, Jane. Don’t let people dictate what is ok for you.” Sabrina came to give me a hug. “He looks like he can throw you around and do all the work,” she whispered.

“He also sounds like a cool dude and if he makes you tingle, go for it.” Katherine hugged both of us as I snorted.

“I agree with Sabrina. Do this for you and stop worrying about what other people will think.” Madie joined the group. She tried to hug us, but we had to make room for her belly.

“We love you, Jane. I think it’s time for you to be happy,” Sabrina whispered like her voice was too full of emotion.

I didn’t know what to say without crying, so I just hugged them back.
