“Hey!” She smiled when she saw Aiden. “How are you?”

“Damn Jane, Callum’s right. You look gorgeous.”

She bit her lip, looking uncomfortable at the attention. “Thanks guys, you know it’s just a normal Saturday for me.” She laughed.

“Well, I look forward to seeing you on a Saturday when you come back.” I tried to hide my smile at his cheesy comment, but that’s what she was doing to us.

Jane laughed. “I’ll make sure I have this dry cleaned and ready for next weekend.”

“I’ll have Nate whip up an excellent dinner then. Don’t want you disappointed.” He gave her his I’m going to have sex with you up smirk. This distance must have made him really miss her.

She giggled again. “Is Nate around? He said he wanted a picture too, but I’m sure this would be better.”

“Uh… Nate isn’t here. He needed to go to the university for a few things.” Aiden looked a little nervous, but nothing I think Jane could pick up on.

“Alright I guess, well I’ll send him a picture but tell him I said hi. I miss you guys, but I gotta finish getting ready or we will be late.” She blew him a kiss and left the frame of the camera.

It was just Aiden and I, but as much as I wanted to ask about Nate, I knew it wasn’t the time. I knew today was going to be a hard day, but spending it alone wasn’t the greatest idea. “Alright hope the food is good, and the alcohol is free. I’ll see you guys later.”

“See ya later, man.” I ended the call to see Jane putting her shoes on in the living room. The shoes made her legs look great and probably even better wrapped around me while I pounded her. Fuck me. This was going to be a long night. I shifted my stance, hoping my hard on wasn’t showing.

“You look great, Callum.” Jane stood up, breaking my perverted thoughts. She came up to me to fix my tie. “I even love that I can see these tattoos peeking out. Makes you look even sexier.” She brushed my shoulders and fixed my lapels. “You ready?” Her voice was slightly husky, she looked like her breathing was faster and her lips parted, an invitation I wanted to explore.

I leaned in closer to her, giving her a chance to pull away, but all she did was tilt her chin up closer to me. I closed the gap between us, pressing our lips together, and it wasn’t what I expected. She pressed her lips firmly against mine, making a shiver course through my body. I opened her lips and our tongues tangled together. She ran her hands through my hair as I wrapped an arm around her waist, bringing us flush together as our kissing became urgent, making her moan.

Knocking startled us, and we stopped abruptly, breathing hard.

“Jane!” Madie knocked again. Jane hurried to the mirror by the door and checked her makeup. I wiped my mouth, knowing I had some lipstick smeared on my mouth.

Jane opened the door as I turned around to fix my raging hard on. “Wow, girly, you look absolutely delectable.” I turned around to see them hugging. “Do you have double-sided tape?” Madie turned around to me and she looked shock. “Wow Callum. I would say you clean up nicely, but I think that would be an understatement.” She walked up to me and gave me a side hug, since she was very pregnant.

“Honey, this is Callum, Aiden’s friend slash coworker, and Jane’s date,” she yelled over her shoulder while the girls disappeared into the room.

A man stood where Madie just was looking around at the room before he turned to me. He smiled at me. “Callum, nice to meet you, man. Aiden has showed us some of your work and it’s amazing.” He extended his hand out and I shook it.

“Thanks, and it’s nice to meet you too.” I left it open since he didn’t say his name.

“Sorry, it’s David.” He looked around at the suite again. “This is really nice. I kept telling Madie we needed to escape for a bit, but she didn’t want to splurge on the hotel. I might have to convince her throughout the night.”

“It’s been really nice staying here and I’ll miss the service and delicious breakfasts.” It was a great hotel and I swear they catered to your every need. I was worried most of the time that it was costing Jane an arm and a leg just to stay here. I know she wanted to treat herself, but I still felt the need to help her pay because it’s been a great stay and I’ve been enjoying it too.

“Alright, let’s get going.” Madie walked out of the bedroom and made her way to the door, not even waiting for her husband. He trailed behind her like he was used to it. Jane came out a little after Madie walking through the living room and waiting for me by the door. She looked at me, unsure, like she didn’t know how to act around me.

“Come on, let’s get a drink before the wedding starts.” I held my arm out to her, and she looked relieve that it wasn’t awkward. We walked out of the room, making our way to the elevator.

“I think I might need more than a drink to get through this wedding,” she joked. I think it was her being serious and after I saw how superficial her mom and brother were, I wouldn’t doubt the need for something stronger. When Jane introduced us, they looked at me like I was trash. I even heard one of them say that she should have just brought Steve the dildo, but it didn’t bother me because at the end of the day no one knew me and they obviously didn’t know Jane.

“I’ll make sure I keep a steady flow of drinks all night,” I said, as we got closer to Madie and David.

“I think we will all need a steady flow of alcohol tonight,” Madie replied to me. “So you bitches need to drink for me, too.” She looked slightly annoyed that she would not be drinking tonight.

We entered the elevator and made our way to the courtyard, where they would be married. A small quartet played music as the guests found their seats. Jane left Madie, David and I to make sure they didn’t need her. I looked around at the courtyard, noticing it was big enough for many people to attend. They covered the entire place in flowers and what looked like rhinestones. It was over the top and it matched Jane's brother to the T.

“Ah Madie, don’t you look lovely.” Jane’s mother, Marie, gave Madie a hug. “I’m surprised you’re here. It looks like you’re ready to delivery.” She didn’t wait for a response when she turned to David and gave him a hug, too. “Better make sure she stays off her feet before she delivers that baby at my son’s wedding.”

“Well, if she has this baby tonight, I’ll make sure it’s after the cake cutting,” David was quick to respond with a disgustingly sweet smile on his face.

Marie narrowed her eyes at him for a moment before letting out a laugh that was entirely fake. “You’re so funny, David.” She finally faced me, disappointment clearly on her face. “Oh, hello,” she said and walked off.
