Yeah, just waiting to get our luggage,I replied.
The carousel moved, and luggage came out.
“You hungry?” I asked, keeping an eye out for our luggage.
“Always,” he said keep an eye out too.
“I swear you could eat all day. I’m envious because if I even think about eating all day, my ass would be the size of Texas.” Callum spotted one of my bags, grabbing it before it passed us.
“I’m sure your ass would still look great if it was the size of Texas,” he said, going for his bag next.
My phone buzzed and continued to buzz consecutively.
Wow, you’re right, he is sexy.
Look at that ass. Yummy.
He’s such a gentleman.
I think might be hotter than Aiden.
I looked around for Madie, knowing she was nearby. She looked up at me when I finally spotted her with a huge grin on her face.
“Alright, I got your last one,” Callum said as Madie and I made our way to each other.
“Damn, I’ve missed you.” Her voice was hoarse with emotion.
“I’ve missed you too, Madie.” I gave her an extra squeeze, showing her I really missed her. “What are you doing here?” We pulled away, and she shrugged her shoulders.
“I didn’t want to wait till tomorrow to see you, plus I had to come and meet Callum.”
We turned around to see Callum rolling both of my bags with his bag like a champ. I smiled at him like he was the sexiest thing I had seen.
“Hello Callum, I’m Madelyn. Nice to meet you.” Madie held her hand out while she blatantly checked him out.
“Nice to meet you, too. It’s nice to put a face to the person Aiden does business with.” Callum shook her hand, giving her a smile that I knew he didn’t give away too often.
“You’re right, Jane, he is a very sexy man. Come on, let me take you out for drink and lunch before Callum’s tux fitting.” Madie walked off like she didn’t just embarrass me.
I looked at Callum, feeling my neck and face turning red. “I… I was merely making a good observation.” I tried not to stutter but was slightly unsuccessful as I took my luggage from him.
Callum grinned at me. “I think I really like Madelyn. Maybe she can tell me more of what you say to her about us.”
“What makes you think I talk about all of you?” I said, as I followed Madie to her car.
“Just call it a hunch.” He shrugged his shoulder.
We caught up to a really pregnant Madie, and we made our way to her car to load up and go to lunch. I was really worried about her interrogation, but it turned out Madie did not question him like a criminal. We had a few drinks with some burgers because, of course, that’s what Madie was craving. We talked about the house progress and a potential client she might have for Aiden in the spring. She dropped us off at our hotel before heading off to one of her doctor’s appointments.
We walked up to the front desk and checked in. The woman took my credit card and checked my ID as she kept checking out Callum. She batted her eyes, cleared her throat and even giggled at something I said when it wasn’t funny. He was oblivious to her advances, checking out the lobby of the hotel.
“I have two keys for the loft suite. Are you needing anything else, Mrs Ramos?” Callum's eyebrows raised up when he heard the word suite.
“Can you let the tailor know we are here for our fitting as well? Thanks.” I smiled and grabbed Callum and walked towards the Elevator.
“She was a peach.” Callum grinned as we got into the elevator.
“She was a man stealing wench,” I all but snapped, hitting the number eighteen.
