“What’s so funny?” Nathan asked.

“It feels like y’all are watching us like parents might when their child goes away for the first time.” I looked at Nathan and Aiden, grinning.

“Welcome to my life,” Callum said, closing the trunk with a ghost of a smile on his face.

“Oh, don’t be so dramatic.” Nathan gave Callum one of those manly hugs. “Have fun kids!” He came over to me and gave me a peck on my lips like it was nothing. “I expect lots of pictures. I also accept nudes and lingerie pictures.” He whispered that last part at me, making me laugh.

“Maybe if I’m feeling generous, I might,” I whispered back, seeing his face lose all that playfulness.

“Don’t tease me, Jane.” He gave me another peck and pulled away. I looked up to see Aiden looking at me.

“I hope you guys have fun.” He gave me a hug, also kissing me near my mouth. “Have a safe flight. I don’t mind nudes and lingerie pictures, either.” He released me, giving me one of his sexy smiles, while I blushed again at their forwardness.

“You want me to drive?” Callum offered, holding his hand out for the keys.

“Yes. I hate to drive.” I handed the keys over, grateful I won’t have to make the drive.

We got into the car and waved goodbye to the guys.

“Thank you for doing this for me. You’re a lifesaver,” I said as we drove down the driveway.

“No problem. Can’t let you be bored with that dildo, and you got me a session with your brother. So, it’s a win-win.” He grinned, looking so excited for his tattoo.

“Did you guys decide what time and what you’re getting done?” I asked, admiring his profile.

“Yeah, tomorrow morning at ten and he’s drawing it up.” He smiled, making his entire face light up. He sure has come a long way from the brooding guy I first met.

“Callum,” I said, looking out the window.

“Yeah.” He turned to glance at me.

“So I already had reservations at the hotel my brother is having his wedding at. It’s a suite with a king. Are you ok with that, or do you think we need to get separate rooms?” I felt like an idiot for asking because I probably should have done that to begin with.

His lip twitched, liked he wanted to smile when I looked over. “I mean, we have slept together, so I don’t see that as a problem.”

He made it sound sexual even though nothing happened between us. “Are you sure?” I asked again to make sure, more for my sake than his.

“Are you sure?” He looked at me with a brow raised like I should be the one who is ok with it.

“I’m fine with it. Like you said, we shared a bed, and it is a king,” I replied, and my voice didn’t sound so sure.

“If you don’t feel comfortable with it, I could always sleep on the floor or on the sofa.” He kept his eyes on the road.

I studied him for a moment, wondering if I was really comfortable with it. I think I was just over thinking it, because I felt comfortable with Callum. The guys always made me feel safe. “I’m ok with it.”

“You can change your mind at any time.” He smiled at me.

“I’ll be ok. I’ve missed sleeping with someone. Sleeping alone is one of the hardest things to get used to,” I said, looking at the scenery. I started feeling a little guilty at asking him to come, but now I can see it might be a little torture but probably worth it in the end.

We arrived in Dallas right on time. The flight was smooth, and Madie got our seats upgraded to business class. It was spacious, giving us both space to have our legs out and enjoy a more comfortable flight.

“Damn, now I don’t think I’ll ever want to fly anything other than business or higher.” Callum looked around his seat to make sure he wasn’t forgetting something.

“I know, Madie’s husband has ruined me, and every time I fly economy, it really sucks.” I stood up, grabbing my purse and going down the aisle to the exit. Callum followed close behind me, occasionally putting his hand on the small of my back as we made our way through the airport. We made it to baggage claim and as we waited, I checked my phone so I could order us an Uber.

Have you landed?Madie texted me.
