Chapter 15
Addie
As Lucian and I finished our conversation, I heard the front door open. My head spun toward the door and a man that looked remarkable like Lucian—nice looking, blond hair, muscles, and tall—walked toward our table. Nate watched as the man joined us. I smiled as Nate mouthed the word son. I nodded slightly.
So, this was one of Lucian’s sons. At first, he paid me no attention. It was just as well I wasn’t there for him. He and his father spoke to each other in hushed tones. Whatever they were saying wasn’t my business.
“I should get going.” I finished my bourbon and got up from the table.
“Addie, this is my son, Charles.”
The man spun around to face me and held out his hand. “Nice to meet you.” Not only did he look like his father, but he sounded like him and had the same blue eyes. His voice was deep and gravelly.
“You too,” I said as I shook his hand. I turned to Lucian. “Thanks for the advice. And I’ll let you know when that other thing is done.”
He smiled, rising to his feet and he clasped my hand. “You got bigger balls than your father, kid.”
I followed Nate, Joe, and Big Bob outside. The night air sent a shiver through my spine.
“You need us for anything else?” asked Joe, stretching as we headed toward our cars.
I shook my head. “No, not tonight. Thanks for coming. I’ll see you all tomorrow.”
“Alright, Boss,” Joe and Big Bob said at the same time. It made me smile to know that they already thought of me as their boss. I waited until I got in the car with Nate, and we pulled away from the restaurant.
“Alright, so what happened?” Nate asked, pulling onto the main road.
“Can you pull over somewhere?” I let out a deep breath, watching the scenery pass, looking for a place to stop.
“Hold on.” Nate pulled into a supermarket parking lot and parked in the back. “What’s going on?”
I pulled out my phone, held it between us, and pressed play.
“That’s the video!” Nate’s head snapped up, his eyes wide.
“Yeah, I asked him to send it to me. I need you to tell me who they are and what they do.” We watched the video. It was difficult to say if his daughter was drunk or if they had slipped her something. She had to be carried into the room by two men. Someone was behind the camera. The three men raped her repeatedly. The guy behind the camera didn’t participate but he told them what to do and how to put her in the right position.
“That voice is definitely Reggie’s.” Nate shook his head in disgust. He stopped the video took it back to the beginning and then zoomed in on their faces. “And that is Little Bill and Lucky.”
“Can you tell who the third guy is?”
“No, his face is never on camera. And other than some grunting, his voice isn’t on here either.” He handed the phone back to me. “So, what are we going to do with that?”
“I told Lucian I would give him retribution and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.” I shrugged. “I just haven’t figured out how I’m going to do it yet.”
“You don’t make promises you can’t keep to mob bosses.” Nate’s eyes filled with concern.
“I intend to keep this promise so that isn’t a problem.” I let out a deep breath “But right now, I need to go home and get some sleep.”
When I crawled into bed, it was a little after midnight, but my mind wouldn’t let me sleep. I tossed and turned until almost three in the morning, contemplating how I was going to get retribution for Lucian and his daughter. Everything from killing the guys outright and sending him their heads to cutting off their balls and sending them to him ran through my mind.
After a while, I sent a short text to Eli, jumped up and put on some clothes, and grabbed my keys. When I ascended the stairs of the Gold party house a little while later and knocked on his bedroom door, Eli answered it in nothing but a towel.
“Drop the towel.”
He let the towel slip through his fingers and fall to the floor.
I pushed him inside and closed the door behind him. His skin was still wet from the shower. I let my hands move over his body until they reached his cock. I took it in my hands, and ran my thumb over the tip.
