We sat in each other's presence as we both calmed down from the sincere confession. Hades' burden was lifted, but I feel like it wasn't everything in my own heart. He was just now calming down, so I would bring it up another time. Every time I asked him a serious question, he would always give me an honest answer.

"I have another surprise for you." His voice was a bit raspy from being silent. My ears perked up as I bit my lip.

"Oh? Just like the one I just had?" I tried to keep my excitement to a minimum but failed miserably. His smile became a side one. Hades pulled down the sheet with which I had covered my breasts.

"It was something else, but I don't mind another surprise like this one." My nipples instantly hardened as he made me straddle my naked form across his lap. My face flushing red, he grabbed my bruised bottom lip with his teeth and tugged while he groaned.

I pointed to my mouth and his shoulder; there were two long scratches left with blood beading in places. Hades' laughed instead of getting angry. "That was the hottest thing I had ever felt. Reluctantly letting go, I touched my teeth again only to feel their normal bluntness.

"I, I thought I had fangs," I rushed out. "I looked over at the mirror; they looked like fangs!" Panicking, I go to get off his lap, but Hades' holds me down.

"You must have thought that after you bit me. There are no fangs in your mouth, and damn, you can bite me all you want."

Hades’ smile led me to laugh as he pecked me on the forehead. I swore I saw some fangs. They looked so real. Unlike the demon fangs that I had seen, these were thicker, but they were undoubtedly sharp. Patting them a few times in my mouth and glancing back at Hades' shoulder, I couldn't understand how my blunt teeth could have done that.

"Now, uh, I do have a surprise for you, really," Hades spoke up. I wiggled my eyebrows, and he playfully nuzzled into my neck. "What the hell am I going to do with you!?" He gave a heartfelt laugh as I wrapped my arms around him again.

"The rate you are going…." I teased while he put a finger up to my mouth to silence me. Hades was so playful when he wanted to be. Not being worried or upset about things, I was ready to see Selene and Hecate back, and he wouldn't have to be too engrossed in work all the time.

"No, really. I have to go to the Celestial Kingdom and visit with my brother." Hades' tone went serious, and I stopped laughing. "He will be a deciding factor in how I want to proceed with this investigation on finding Selene and the Helm. I believe Malachi took it, but I also believe that someone is coaxing him to commit the crimes."

"Tell me what to do then; I want to help!" Hades shook his head and pulled me close.

"I want you to stay close to me, never leave my side, so I know you are protected." I wasn't about to go wander around some heaven area with a bunch of crazy mythical creatures anyway. "Do you understand?" I nodded into his chest.

"Go get dressed; we are going to arrive in style." Hades gave a mega-watt smile as he patted my butt to go wash up.
