She laughs and I can’t help but giggle.

“I mean, it was your typical girls school. Nothing exciting ever happened. All I did was go to class and stay in my dorm.”

“All girls…. dang, no boys at all?” She asks as she crinkles her nose.

I shake my head. “None.”

“Well, there are plenty of boys here.” She finishes off her slice and dusts the crumbs from her hands. “Gotta pee.” She jumps up and takes off down the hall. I guess she knows her way around here.

I look down at the pizza and smile to myself. I feel like I’ve known this girl my whole life. Is that even a thing? Instant friendship? I decided not to ponder and accept the fact I was thrown a bone today. I hear the door open, and Travis walks in.

“Hey, what’s up?” He sighs as he falls down on the couch and grabs a slice of pizza. “I’m starving.” He chews. “How did it go with-”

“We are going to have to tell Dom this toilet paper has to go. It feels like sandpaper on my vagina!” Dani yells down the hall.

I almost shot Dr Pepper across the room. Dani appears around the corner. “Oh good, you caught all that. If there’s one thing you don’t skim on, it’s toilet paper,” she says to him with a wink.

I giggle as Travis’ eyes go large. He shakes his head and takes another bite.

“I’m out, girl. I'll text you tomorrow.” Dani waves as she grabs her phone from the kitchen.

“Bye! I had fun!” I yell from the couch.

She smiles and then flips off Travis when he tells her to get lost. I glance over at my brother with a big smile.

“I really like her.”
