She cupped his head, moaning. “That’s not fair.”
“Of course, it is, and you love it.” He eased his hand between her legs.
“Oh, God.” She arched her back and rolled her hips, matching his movements.
He didn’t want to bring her over the edge. He wanted to savor that for when he was inside her. But teasing her now brought him ridiculous pleasure. He loved how her body moved with his and how she responded to his touch.
“Yes.” She moaned. “Please,” she begged.
His muscles tightened. The blood racing through his veins burned. He nestled himself between her legs.
She dug her nails into his shoulders and her heels into the backs of his thighs.
He did everything he could to keep things under control, but he wasn’t sure that would last for very long. Her body demanded every piece of him, and he was inclined to give it to her exactly the way she wanted it. If she asked him to stand on his head, he’d do it. He didn’t care. Whatever made her happy, made him ecstatic.
Her climax came on hard and fast. It engulfed him, taking him to places he’d only been able to imagine. His head spun. He held onto her, hoping he could control his release, but it proved impossible. He found her mouth and kissed her as hard as he could while his body shuddered and his mind spun.
He’d never get this woman out from under his skin.
And he didn’t think he wanted to.
He ran his fingers up and down her spine as he caught his breath. He kissed the soft spot under her earlobe, feeling the sharp rise and fall of her chest as she took air into her lungs.
“Now I’m hungry,” she said. “And thirsty.”
He laughed. “Lucky for you, we still have a few quarter sandwiches, and I believe the kitchen might still be open.”
“Oh. I could go for some of those dessert cookies.”
“I’ll call room service.” Emmett rolled to the side, pulling the covers over their bodies. “Do we need more wine?”
“No. Just the cookies. I had enough last night. Though I won’t deprive you.”
“No, I’m good,” he said. “Can I ask you a serious question?”
“Of course.”
“Is it okay with you if I stay the night?”
“Oh, my. Aren’t you the sweetest?” She wrapped her arms around him and kissed his chest. “Yes. I’m good with that. But aren’t you worried about what people will think?”
“Not in the slightest.” He kissed her forehead. “I’ll get us some cookies and put in an order for breakfast because we’re going to need it.”
“Oh. Are you suggesting we might need some energy because there will be a second round?”
“It’s not a suggestion.”
