Valentina leaned over him, touching his thigh in a way that made me want to rip her pretty manicured hand away from her body. She ignored my scowl, instead opting for a quick peck on the lips.

When I didn’t reciprocate, she pouted, her eyes big and wide. I rolled mine, leaning into her for a quick, angry kiss. Her brows furrowed, but she didn’t say anything as she pulled away.

“Alex doesn’t like when other women touch me.” he said looking pointedly at his thigh.

She looked between us, “But you let her touch other people?”

“I don’t mind if she’s with other people,” he shrugged, “But she’s particular about her other people being with others as far as I know.”

“I like a little possessiveness to balance out the prettiness,” my face flushed at Valentina’s wide smile. “I hope to see that side more often, muñequita.”

She looked out the window to the setting sun, “Will you come to dinner tomorrow night? At the house? We’ll have to go around the shops and get you measured for your pageant dress.”

“Yes, thank you.”

She nodded, placing a dainty hand on my head before placing another kiss there. This time however she kept a respectful distance from Bryce.
