It’sbeennearlya month since Jace came home from the hospital. He’s been doing well although it was slow at first. He has his next check up in a week and we’re hoping to get the all clear. We’re also going to the clubhouse that day to celebrate Earl’s birthday. After the boys talked, they decided Knox and Draco wouldn’t attend, opting to wait a little longer to announce our unconventional relationship.

It was cute when we had our first group date a week ago, we decided to have a camp out in Jace’s living room. Draco brought over a projector and we watched old eighties movies on the wall and ate tons of popcorn. Bash came, but left after the movies were over, claiming he had some club business to take care of. My heart still breaks everytime he leaves and the very noticeable lack of affection between us.

The guys keep telling me to be patient. I thought I was going to crack up when they told me they had weekly harem meetings, where they talked about things amongst themselves. If they wanted one on one time, any grievances they had with the others, who wanted to take part in group sex activities, and more. You’d think they were a bunch of women.

I’m packing my bag to head out of my apartment to the club. I promised Vee and Ash a dance lesson this afternoon and thanks to some extracurricular fun with Knox, I’m running fucking late.

I’m at the door getting ready to open it when hands wrap around my waist, spinning me around.

“Nuh uh, babe. You ain’t running out of here without giving me a kiss.” he tells me as he begins to trace his lips along my neck before moving up to my mouth and kissing me with so much passion I literally feel my toes curl.

“Keep that up and I’m going to say screw the girls and work tonight.” I tell him, when he finally releases my lips from his clutches.

“Well I, for one, wouldn’t be opposed to that.” He brushes a stray lock of hair behind my ear, the rough pads of his fingers skimming along the rims of my ear causing goosebumps to pop up all over my body. “But I know the girls are looking forward to this lesson so get on out of here. I’ll be here when you get home tonight.”

I take a deep breath, placing one last kiss on his lips, then turn and open the door before bounding out of it and down the steps to my car.

Thirty minutes later I pull up outside of the club, already spotting Vee’s car parked out front, and park beside her, before getting out and heading inside. I can’t help the smile that breaks out on my face at seeing Hank perched on the stool behind the counter at the door. I throw my arms around him, giving him the biggest, longest hug ever.

“I’m so glad you’re back. I thought Vee was going to hold you hostage forever.” Tears slide down my face.

“You and me both, I'm fuckin’ glad to be back. Couldn’t even take a piss without her hoverin’ over me.” He smiles through his laughter. I know he’s loving every minute of her attention.

“Well, I better get inside, don’t want to keep them waiting.” I all but skip inside to the dance floor. Looking around, I see Vee behind the bar, and make my way over.

“Hey girl,” she calls out as she continues drying glasses and putting them away. “Just thought I'd get ahead on stocking the bar before my shift. My bones are telling me it’s going to be packed tonight.”

It’s at the moment we hear the door open again and the loud voice of Ash, as she’s scolding Kaleb who’s following along behind her.

“Would you stop? You heard the woman yourself. It’s fine for me to work and to dance, so get off my case about it.”

When she looks up and sees me and Vee staring at her, she abruptly clenches her mouth shut, swatting Kaleb across the chest when he starts to speak. “Hey girls, who’s ready to shake their ass? Kaleb was just saying goodbye before he heads over to the tattoo shop to take care of his clients who are waiting patiently for him.” I can’t help but notice the pointed glare she gives him, as he places a kiss on her cheek and heads back the same way he came in.

“Are we ready to dance or does anyone need to change?” Ash quickly asks, avoiding our questioning looks, almost like she’s trying to change the subject before we even have a chance to ask what the hell the conversation between her and Kaleb was about.

“Nope, nope, nope. You have some explaining about what the hell that was about first.” Vee spits out, making her way out from behind the bar, beating me to the punch.

She stands there nervously chewing on her lip before blowing out a breath of air. “Fine, I’ve been dying to tell someone since we left, but you can’t say anything yet.” She pauses looking back and forth between us before we finally promise, looking around to see who else is in the room. When she sees nobody she finally screams out, “I’M PREGNANT!” Vee and I instantly latch onto her at the same time, crying tears of happiness.

When we finally calm down, I take her by the hand, pulling her over to a table to sit down and we start with the questions.

“How far along are you? Do you know who the father is?” I blurt out, before Vee has a chance.

“I’m almost four months along, we’re going to surprise my dad at his birthday party with the news, so don’t say anything to anybody. The father, well, we don’t know. We talked about it, and who the biological father is isn’t important to us, they’re all going to pick a way they want to be referred to as dad. We decided that I’m going to give them each a child, so for medical reasons we will do a blood test after the baby is born for that reason only.” Her face is positively glowing and I’m so happy for her.

As I sit and listen to her talk I’m smiling on the outside, but on the inside I’m sad. I’ll never get to see her baby being born, his or her chubby cheeks. Will the baby have her hair, look more like the father? Hell, who will the father be? How will it change the guys?

I reach up to wipe the tear that’s forming before it escapes.

“Why are you crying?” Ash asks me, catching me mid-wipe.

“I’m just so happy for you. You’re finally getting your happily ever after.” I tell her, not completely the truth but still true.

“Well, I guess we need to get to those lessons. We need you to be a master dancer before you start waddling, because if this baby takes after Mack, it’s going to be huge and need a lot of room to grow.” I joke with her, causing them both to double over in laughter.

Vee’s intuition was right, the night was crazy. We stay packed from about nine P.M. until closing. I don’t think I’ve ever given as many private dances as I did tonight. I’m pulling my bag from my locker to head home for the night, taking out my phone to message Knox and tell him I’m on my way, when I see the missed calls and texts.
