“There was an emergency, Knox just showed up and that’s when I saw the time.”

“Why the hell are you badgering your student? She’s my fucking girlfriend and I can be here if I want. If you didn’t notice, I have a key.”

“Girlfriend???” I spit out questiongly, my neck feeling like I have whiplash as I move it back and forth between the two guys.

“You have a fucking boyfriend and you’re with me. What the hell, Arianna?”

With the last shout at me, Knox is across the room, his fist flying, catching Draco right in the jaw. It takes Draco by shock, but then he’s throwing punches right back as they knock each other down into my coffee table, causing pieces of wood to go flying; allowing one to hit me upside the head.

“Stop!!!” I scream out, moving my hand up to hold my head where it was hit. Feeling something wet on my hand I pull it down to see blood.

“Fuck, babe are you okay?” Knox calls out as he rushes over to me.

“Get the fuck away from her!” Draco growls out, grabbing me by the arm forcefully, pulling me away from Knox.

“Both of you fucking stop. I’ve had enough.

“First of all, Knox, I am NOT your girlfriend. We are friends and we have sex. Draco, we had an arrangement and coming to my house was not included in it. Then, you two act like fucking neanderthals.” I say, pissed off at their behavior, and mad at myself. I didn't want them to find out about each other like this.

“We are together all the time, we sleep together. Why not be my girlfriend? Are you sleeping with the both of us?” Knox states and questions at the same time.

“Yes,” I reply, having no choice but to tell the truth.

“You need to decide. Continue with him or with me. You can’t be with both of us.” Draco tells me in his dominant voice.

“No, I won’t choose. And if you care even the slightest, you won’t ask me to. I should have told each of you about the other, and for that I’m sorry but I won’t choose one over the other.”

“Don’t worry Arizona, you don’t have to choose I’m out of the fucking equation.” Knox says as he turns, heading towards the door and slamming it behind him.

“Knox!” I scream out after him, but he ignores me.

“Now that we have that taken care of, know your punishment will be coming for this betrayal, I fully expect you to tell me everything. We will be redoing our contract to include you telling me what you’re keeping from me, as well as you will not be with anyone else while you’re with me. But first we need to get your head looked at.” Draco states with conviction.

“No,” I spit out, as I wrap my brain around the events that just happened. “No, I don’t want anyone. The two of you acted like fucking morons, especially you jumping to a conclusion and automatically assuming I’m a liar. I may not have told each of you about the other, but I am no damn liar. It’s better this way anyhow. No need to make an attachment when I’m going to be leaving. Just get the fuck out and forget you know me as anything other than a student.” I start picking up the splintered pieces of broken wood from the floor and move to lay them on top of my table.

“Arianna,” he begins to speak but I cut him off, not wanting to hear anything else he has to say.

“No!” I say with more force in my voice. “I SAID GET THE FUCK OUT!!” I scream and return to what I was doing.

It’s a few minutes later, when I hear his feet on the floor and the door open and close behind him, silence filling the room.

How the fuck did this day turn into such a fucking disaster? I make my way to the bathroom to look into the mirror, seeing blood mixed in with my hair. Parting my hair and leaning closer to the mirror, it appears to be more of a puncture than a cut and not as deep as I thought before. It seems, now that I’m not screaming, the bleeding has slowed to barely a trickle.

I open the medicine cabinet, finding a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and pull it out. I pick up a clean washcloth and soak it in the peroxide then set to cleaning the wound.

Maybe it’s better it happened this way. I was already building strong feelings for them both and was wondering how to end it before I had to leave, guess answers to problems come in ways you never expect.
