Arizona
It’sbeenovertwo weeks since Ash was taken and no one, and I mean no one, has involved the cops. I keep questioning Vee about why they haven’t been called and she keeps telling me to be quiet and it’ll be handled. How can they just be so blase about it? I told her if no one has called the cops within a day, I’m reporting it to them.
I’ve just walked in the door at the club when I’m grabbed from behind and slung over someone’s shoulders, giving me a direct view of his tight ass as he carries me across the room and up the stairs. I pound my fists on his ass yelling at him to put me down, but I’m ignored, not even a grunt comes from him. Once he has me in the office, he drops me on the couch and I immediately bounce back up, very ungracefully. Fucking Javier!
“Listen to me, and listen hard. I’ve heard you runnin’ your mouth to Vee and if you speak anymore of callin’ the cops, it ain’t goin’ to end well for you. I like you, but we handle our own and we aren’t above takin’ care of anyone who steps in our path. I know club life isn’t normal for you, but we got this handled. Am I clear?” he firmly tells me, not once blinking as he stares me down. I can see him clenching his jaw as he waits impatiently for my response.
I open my mouth to speak, then snap it shut, repeating it a couple times. I’m foaming at the mouth to say how ludicrous what he said is, but I bite my tongue and think about what I’m going to say.
“Javier, I understand what you’re saying but it makes no fucking sense to me.”
“Listen, to anyone outside the MC and the lifestyle we live, I’m sure it doesn’t. Just know we don’t always do everything above the law, we’re not a one percenter club and try to do most things on the up and up. But when somethin’ happens to our club or our people we handle it our way, we are our own judge, jury and executioner. We’ll find her, and when we do, the person who took her will pay, the club way. Now, you need to just let it go. If it had been any other brother who heard what you were sayin’, you wouldn’t be sittin’ here now.” he tells me, his concerned expression letting me know he truly believes what he says.
“You will find her? You promise me?” I ask, knowing it’s still months before I have to leave. I just need to know she’s been found before I go. I have a feeling if she’s not, there won’t be a missing photo of her anywhere.
“I promise we’re going to find her, just no more questionin’ and no more threats of goin’ to the cops. Got it?”
“Got it.” I tell him just as we hear a knock on the door, before it opens and Bash walks in.
“Sorry, didn’t realize you were busy?” he says nervously, which throws me for a loop with him being the big bad biker. He also has a hint of anger in his eyes which are zeroed in on Javier, who has a smirk on his face, like he finds this humorous.
“We were just gettin’ something cleared up. I think we’re on the same page now. What do you need man?”
“Oh nothing, was just goin’ to check the security cameras from the last couple of weeks. See if I can spot anything.” Bash tells him and all I can think about is how his voice make me horny.
“You know what Bash, maybe a second set of eyes will help you out. Arizona here isn’t due on stage for a couple hours, so instead of workin’ the floor she can hang out up here with you and look at the monitors. She can tell ya if anyone stands out to her.” Javier says as he throws a wink Bash’s way and heads out the door, shutting it behind him.
“So,” I say nervously, raking my foot back and forth across the floor, where I’m seated on the couch, “what are you looking for exactly or is that privileged information?”
He stares, no, glares is more like it, for a minute without saying a word.
“Look, I can go back out to the floor. I don’t want to be in the way, especially if you don’t want me around.” I stand up and march towards the door, only to trip over my own feet. Before I can hit the floor though, two large arms wrap around me, catching me. One of those massive hands finds its way to my right breast. Damn if my pussy doesn’t get excited about it.
Once he has me firmly back upright on my feet, he jerks away, like he can’t stand the fact he touched me.
“Thank you, but if it bothers you that bad to touch me then you should’ve just let me fall. It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve hit the floor.” I say sarcastically, trying hard to not show any trace of the hurt washing over me at the way he jerked his hands away on my face.
“It’s not… Hell… Look, you’re just a kid and it was an inappropriate way to touch you.”
“Okay first off,” I say getting up on my soapbox, “I’m in no way a kid, I am twenty almost twenty-one and sugar, that’s legal age. I also want to point out I in no way minded your hands on my body, in fact I’m going to go out on a limb here and let you know I’ve had dreams where those hands have touched every inch of my body intimately. And check out the big words from the biker, inappropriate, didn’t know you even knew what the words meant.” Yeah, I know that last part was probably going a little too far but he pissed me the hell off.
“Look little girl, not all bikers are dumb assholes. I happen to have a college education. My hands touching you? Don’t worry, it will only ever happen in your dreams. So why don’t you run along and shake your ass for some of the men waitin’ downstairs. I don’t need any fuckin’ help.”
I stare at him for a moment, and it feels like my heart is breaking. He was so cruel. Yeah my comment wasn’t exactly nice, but it was more of a joke, I never thought he was dumb.
“I said go on. We aren’t paying you to stand around.” he says harshly as he points towards the door.
I have no words as I turn on the spot and walk towards it. I look back over my shoulder one last time. “I never thought you were dumb, it was just a stupid joke. No worries, I’ll get back to work and in a few months you won’t have to worry about paying me to stand around.” I slam the door behind me as I exit and make my way down the steps, passing Javier on the way.
“Hey, babe, I thought I told you to help Bash?”
“He doesn’t want my help. If you don’t need me on the floor, can I go? I suddenly don’t feel well and we have an extra dancer tonight who can cover my set.”
“Yeah babe. That’s fine. Let Hank walk you out to your car though.” he tells me as he changes directions and heads up the stairs back to the office where Bash is.
I make my way through the tables, ignoring the cat calls of the men as I pass by. I decide to head to the locker room to let her know she will be covering my shift tonight before leaving. I have no doubt she will be happy about the extra opportunity to earn more cash tonight. Once I’m in the dressing room it takes me no time to relay the message and then stuff my costumes from my locker in a bag. Since I’m off tomorrow I plan to drop them off to be cleaned.
I make sure to stop by the bar so I can tell Vee goodbye. Her normal happy, jovial self has been replaced with someone simply going through the motions. We had a conversation the other night and she admitted to me how she felt responsible. If she’d just took the time to help her, then she wouldn’t have been out there alone and could’ve stopped it from happening.
