Ales’ fingers didn’t stop. He swirled them perilously over my core until I couldn’t take anymore.
I tangled my hands into Logan’s hair, and my mind exploded into every color imaginable. I tasted the sweet and dark flavors of each color, listening to the notes as they danced in my thoughts, and continued to build. One on top of the other, I couldn’t stop them.
I opened my eyes, but the colors weren’t just in my mind. My aether was glowing sparks throughout the room, streaking outside the window, and probably across the whole island if I had to guess. And it kept intensifying.
“Oh no, Logan help.”
I tugged at his hair, with more than enough force to hurt, before releasing him. I was panicking.
Ales quickly removed his palm from between my legs then lifted his mouth.
Logan massaged his hands up my spine, and delved them into my scalp. “Relax, honey… you need to breathe or you will pass out.”
I laughed as he started humming and singing along to the dancing colors.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
“Helping you relax.” His gentle words and movements soothed the burning aether. “It’s working, isn’t it?”
The color of the aether began to dim, and fade. My high slowly receded with the light.
“I’m sorry,” I said.
“I’m not. Let’s do it again,” Logan said.
“How is this going to be possible? I, um… I’ve never done this before.”
I realized I was completely naked while Logan and Ales were still fully clothed.
I reached for Ales’ armor. “I want to give you both what you gave me.”
I unlaced the leather over Ales’ chest, sending pulses of color down my fingertips, and over his torso.
My palm rested over his Einherjar mark. I finally understood what each symbol meant that created the mark. Each element was placed beside each sister of Fate: The Urðr—past, the Verðandi—present, and the Skuld—future. The last mark on the symbol, what I thought was valor or duty, represented the strength of the man—their soul. It wasn’t a word in any human language—it was the language of the Fates. All symbols encompassed in the wheel of eternity—The War of Fate.
Ales grinned playfully. “Tonight, we do only this. When we find a world away from the others, we will explore everything in your inquisitive mind. In that world, we will spend days, weeks, loving you.”
“But I want to give you both what you gave me?”
“You already do. We can experience it though the connection, like you do,”Logan said.
“But what if I want to do this now…” I turned to Logan and tore at his armor, licking the skin I exposed. Then I sent Ales images of every way I wanted to touch him, every position I knew a person could make love.
Ales practically purred behind me.
Logan groaned when I rocked my hips against his, only the leather of his pants between us.
“Only Logan’s kisses and my touch tonight. We cannot risk more,” Ales whispered.
“But we get to see and feel every touch through that sexy mind of yours. So no holding back,” Logan warned.
They wanted to keep doing this, all night?
“I can do that…”
