Inside is a business card with an address, but no name.

“Is it a party invite?” Pip sits across from me with her own cup of coffee.

Folding the card and sliding it back into the envelope, I bite my lip and make eye contact with my sister. I can’t believe I’m about to have this conversation with her, but if not her, then who? “You’ve been all around the world. Can I ask you a crazy question?”

“Of course.” She reaches across the table and rubs my hand. “You can ask me anything.”

“No judgment?”

She laughs. “Absolutely.”

I chew on my lip, my eyes bouncing around the room as I put my thoughts into words. “Have you ever heard of a woman dating more than one man?”

“Sure.”

“No, I mean, dating them at the same time.” I twist my fingers around each other to emphasize my point. “Like together.”

“How many men?”

I blush. “Let’s say three.”

Pip giggles. “It’s not common, but not unheard of either. Some people call it a reverse harem; some people call it polyamory. What they call it really depends on the group’s dynamics in and out of the bedroom. Why?”

My eyes go down to the sleek black invitation. “Promise you won’t tell anyone?”

“You’re my sister. Your confidence is mine to keep, and vice versa.”

I take a deep breath, exhaling it slowly, my cheeks turning a fire engine red. “Something happened with Reese, Caiden, and Soren.”

“What?” Pip’s tone is sharp and judgmental.

I shake my head and drop her eyes to my lap. “Never mind.”

Pip pulls my hand across the table, forcing me to look up at her. “Did you want something to happen with them?”

“Yes.” A stray tear falls from my eye. “I know it’s wrong, and I know I’m weird, but I think I love them.”

She shakes her head. “It’s not wrong, and you are not weird, and I completely understand because something happened between me, Lee, Case, and Porter.”

My eyes grow as wide as dinner plates. “What?”
