Page 4 of Love Me Again

"That's completely normal. Just try to keep your feet elevated and avoid wearing heels." She advises, and Cole nods, pointing to his ears, indicating for me to listen to her advice. "Are we finding out the sex today?"

"Yes." We both say together, and she grins, pressing the receiver to my stomach. Cole takes my hand and looks at the screen when our baby comes up.

"Good. First, I'm going to do a couple of checks to make sure everything is all right with the baby." I nod and look at Cole, who was staring at the screen in awe. "We're growing nicely. The water looks good. Your baby is now the size of a small banana." I grin, and Cole chuckles, biting his lip. "Right, let's see if the baby will give us a peek." She states, shaking my stomach a little, and the baby jumps and kicks. "Oh, we’ve got a feisty one.

"Just like its mother," Cole teases, and I slap his arm playfully. He laughs cheerfully, pressing a kiss to my temple.

"Well, guys, say hello to your…baby girl."

"Yes!" Cole exclaims excitedly, and the midwife and I jump, startled at his sudden outburst. I look up at Cole, and he kisses me. "I'm so frigging happy."

The midwife laughs, "Well, we can see Daddy is pleased. How about you, mummy?" I nod and look at the screen, my eyes welling up.

"I'm thrilled," I cry, and Cole looks at me with his green eyes wide

"Oh no, no, not the tears again. Do you have any food?" He asks the midwife, who frowns, looking at him bemused. "It's the only way to stop her from crying." He whispers to her and hisses when I elbow him in the ribs. "Ow. What? It is."

I scowl up at him. Eyes narrowed, "Is that why you keep feeding me?" I ask, affronted, and Cole shrugs sheepishly.

The midwife laughs out loud. "You two are adorable. It's completely normal for her to get emotional from time to time as her body is currently going through many changes every day. You've got one job, daddy, keep mummy happy, so baby is happy."

Cole sighs and smiles at me. "I'll do whatever it takes to keep my girls happy." He whispers, brushing a kiss on my lips and wiping away my tears of joy. The midwife gives us a video of the ultrasound and a couple of photos to take with us.

"Have you thought about any names?"Coleinquiresas we get into the car. I shrug, pulling my seatbelt on.

"I have a couple of ideas. What about you?"

Cole nods, grinning as he backs up out of the parking spot. "A couple."

"Let's hear it then."

"Well, I like the name, Sienna."

"Sienna Hoult." I nod, grinning but frown suddenly. "Wait, is that a name of an ex or..."

Cole laughs, "No. I just like the name. Let's hear yours."

"Alaia is at the top of my list," I say, and he grins.

"Alaia Hoult. It'sperfect, baby. I love it." Cole says, taking my hand and kissing my knuckles.

"You do?"

"Yeah, it's such a beautiful name. Alaia."

"Actually…I thought we could give her a middle name. Alaia Mae Hoult." Cole repeats the name, smiling.

"Alaia Mae Hoult, get your butt down here." He mutters with a frown and then laughs. "I like it. You need to try it out when you're full naming her for when she's in trouble." I laugh and squeeze his cheek.

"You're so cute. Although, I think she's going to have you wrapped around her little finger, my love." I grin, and he nods, licking his lips.

"Damn right she will, especially if she comes out looking like a miniature version of you." He grins, giving me a side stare while he drives. "My beautiful queen and my mini princess."

Coleand I went to get something to eat before we went home. I'm currently sprawled out on the sofa, reading a book, while he was on the phone to someone at the Miami office. I can see him pacing back and forth in his office, looking rather irritated. Twenty minutes later, he came over to me and flops down on the sofa with a heavy sigh. "What's going on, baby?" I question, putting my book down. Cole opens his eyes and looks at me.
