Me:
No-can-do, honey. We have a ton of cocktails and a drunken pillow fight to follow shortly. You’ll be bored.
Bebé:
The fuck, I will! I love a good pillow fight, or have you forgotten about the ones we had in our old apartment when you first moved in?
Me:
How could I forget? It was the best time of my life.
I miss you. Have fun.
Bebé:
I miss you more. Dream of me, Gorgeous girl.
I scowl when my phone is plucked from my hand and tossed aside by Aimee. “Stop texting your sexy husband! No men tonight!” She scolds me and pulls me to dance with them.

The next morning,we were up bright and early. Jo was the only sober one, not being able to drink because of the pregnancy, while Aimee and I were hanging after one too many cocktails. We had hair and makeup going on in my old bedroom. Champagne was flowing while we got ready for Aimee and Josh’s big day. Aimee was a nervous wreck, and it was adorable. It took us all four hours to get prepared. The cars were waiting to take us to the church. Aimee’s mother— Lorraine, joined us in the morning, and her father came to pick her up to accompany her to the church as he was walking her down the aisle. Alaia was picked up by my mother early on so that I could focus on Aimee.
“You look stunning.” I smile, fixing her veil before she walks in. “This is it. You ready to marry your man?” She lets out a nervous breath and nods. We hug, and I take my place with Jo, ready to walk down the aisle. Jo goes first, and I follow. When Cole sees me walking toward them, he grins, his eyes never leaving mine until I take my place opposite him. His eyes rake over me and meet mine again. He was dressed in a tuxedo looking mouth-watering as always, as he stood beside Josh, who was fidgeting nervously.
“You’re beautiful.” He mouths to me, and I smile and wink at him. We turn and face the front as Aimee walks down the aisle with her dad. I watch Josh’s reaction when he sees her in her wedding gown.
He turns to Cole, his eyes swimming in tears. “Oh, fuck.” He whispers, exhaling, and Cole smiles, squeezing his shoulder supportively. I feel myself getting emotional already. They’re such a beautiful couple, and I was so happy they found one another. I cry throughout the entire ceremony while they declare their love for one another. I smile at Cole when I catch him watching me lovingly. I get flashes of our wedding day, and I know he does too because his eyes water as he looks at me. Cole hands Josh his ring, and I give Aimee hers, and they repeat after the minister sliding the rings on one another’s fingers.
“...I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.” The minister declares, and Josh pulls Aimee to him, and he kisses her passionately while everyone stands and applauds, cheering. Once they pull back from the kiss, they gaze lovingly at one another. Josh turns to face Cole, and they hug while Aimee turns to Jo and me. “Congratulations!” We hug tightly, sobbing. I pull back and brush her tears away. “I’m so happy for you, Aimes. I love you so much.” I cry, and she returns my smiles with a tearful one.
“I love you more.” She cries, hugging me again. “Thank you for everything,”
I smile, and we pull apart. “Always,” I promise and watch her hug Jo next.
“I hope every day is as happy as this one for the rest of your lives, babe. I love you bitch.” Jo cries, and Aimee smiles.
“I love you more bitch. I’m going to miss living with you.” She cries when they pull apart.
“Oi, you two, stop making my bride cry,” Josh complains playfully, coming up behind Aimee. I smile and wrap my arms around him tightly.
“Come here you.” Josh grins and hugs me just as tight. “Look after her and make her happy. I love you, but if you break her heart, I will kill you.” I sniffle, and he chuckles, nodding before he kisses my forehead and wipes away my tears.
“Thank you for bringing her into my life. I’m grateful to you, and I love you, sis.” Josh affirms and hugs me again.
“I love you too, bro.”
“Ahem, can I have my wife back now, please?” Cole grumbles with a playful scowl, and Josh pulls away laughing. “Your wife is over there, dickhead.” He adds with a laugh and slaps his back. They fist bump, and Josh goes over to his bride. Cole pulls me into his arms. “Hi, Gorgeous girl.” He greets me, pressing his forehead to mine.
“Hi, Stud.” I greet back and close my eyes when he tilts my head up and brushes a kiss to my waiting lips. “As sexy as you look, I can’t wait to take this tuxedo off you later,” I whisper, and he grins roguishly.
“I was thinking the same about that dress. While you were walking down that aisle, I got flashes of our wedding day, and I saw you in your wedding dress, and my stomach got all fluttery.”
“So did I. While they were saying their vows, I remembered ours, and I couldn’t stop crying,” I admit leaning into his touch, smiling, and Cole brushes away my tears before he kisses me softly.
“I would marry you over and over again, baby.” He states charmingly, making me laugh.
“So, would I, but I think twice is enough. Let’s just focus on staying married this time.” I tease, and he laughs.
