Page 2 of Love Me Again

"Because you know me too darn well." She croons, wrapping her arms around my neck, and gazes into my eyes.

"That I do, baby. What are we doing?" I ask, intrigued, and she shrugs impishly and presses me back against the wall.

"Well, first, I'm going to make love to you." She whispers, running her hands over my chest. I groan and watch her excitedly. "And then..." She kisses my jaw softly. "We're going to have breakfast with your parents." She smiles and trails her lips along my jaw. "After that, I'm going to kidnap you, and we're going on a little trip to Amsterdam with Aimee, Jo, Josh, and Sam."

I laugh and kiss her temple. "Boy, I've not been to Dam in an awfully long time. Last time Josh and I went, we got so baked we ended up on the blue light district." I tell her, and Shayla's eyes go wide, and she laughs.

"No!"

I laugh, nodding, "Luckily, I realized, and I stopped Josh before he did something he would have needed a shit load of therapy for later." Shayla throws her head back and laughs hysterically.

"Well, as bummed as I am that I can't get 'baked' with you guys, I'll be sure to keep you all away from the blue light district." She promises, and I chuckle, shaking my head at the fond memories I had on that trip. This was on Josh's twenty-first birthday, we took a boy's trip with all our friends, and it was a memorable one at that.

After our shower, Shayla and I went to bed.

The followingmorning Shay kept her promise and woke me up with soft loving kisses on the lips. We made love before we had to pack for our two-day trip to Amsterdam and meet my parents for breakfast.

"I cannot believe we're going to Dam. I am so excited!" Jo chirps as we walk into the jet. I wrap an arm around my wife and nuzzle her neck tenderly, and she nestles into me. Aimee pops the champagne and pours us all a glass each.

"Sorry Shay, you're having apple juice, babe," Aimee teases, handing her a glass of apple juice, and she grins. "I'll drink in your place, don't worry." She adds with a cheeky grin.

"Lucky for you bitches, I don't need alcohol to have fun." She shrugs, and I kiss her jaw lovingly while I rub her stomach.

"All right. Toast time." Josh says, holding up his champagne flute. "To Coles birthday, you may be getting older, but you're still one sexy son of a gun." He toasts. I laugh, holding up my glass. "Happy birthday Cole!" We all clink our glasses and drink. I'm so incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful life. A great group of friends surrounded me. I have the most beautiful woman in the world by my side, who is having my baby. I was just so happy. The lights in the jet dim, and music starts playing, and we all cheer.

The girls pull Shayla off my lap, and they all start dancing. Josh and Sam start handing out shots of Patron. They were on a mission to get me drunk, that much I knew for sure. "Drink up, bro!" Sam sings, handing me another shot and slapping my back. Aimee pulls Josh to dance with her as Sam walks over to Jo. Shayla looks at me, grinning beautifully. I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her waist, drawing her against me. Shayla wraps her arms around my neck as we sway together to the music. "You love makes me dizzy, baby." I drawl in her ear, and she giggles.

"That's the tequila, Bebé."

I shake my head, smiling down into her upturned face. "No, it's not. I have you, but I still want you desperately. How is that possible?" I growl, and she smiles, her cheeks flushing.

"That's a good thing because I still want you, and I always will, you sexy beast." She tells me and draws my lips to hers, and kisses me hot and hard. I moan when she sucks and flicks her tongue over mine.

"Oh gross, I don't want to see that. Oi, get a room, you two." Sam grumbles, disgruntled at watching me sucking faces with his baby sister. I flip him off while I continue to kiss her while we continue dancing together.

We landin Amsterdam an hour later. We hire tandem bikes and cycle through the city together--which wasn't easy to do while tipsy. Sam and Jo fell off twice, and it was rather amusing watching Jo scold him. He's like six-foot-four and built like a tank, while she's five feet two and petite. Such a miss-match, but she seems to keep him under control. After our bike rides, we walk through the city and visit the Anne Frank museum, where Shayla spent a good forty-minutes sobbing.

"Honey, come on, please stop crying." I urge, wiping her tears away. She sniffles and hiccups adorably.

"It's just so sad." She whimpers, and I wrap my arms around her tighter. "I read the book but seeing it just..." She sobs again. I smile and brush her hair away from her face and kiss her forehead.

"Look, baby, do you want a cinnamon pretzel?" I ask, trying to distract her, and she nods as we walk to the stand. I hand her the pretzel, and she eats it as we walk along the river.

"Dude, what was that?" Josh inquires, referring to Shayla's emotional outburst. I smile and shake my head.

"Hormones, bro. She's like a bloody yo-yo. One minute she's happy, and the next she's crying her eyes out." I explain, glancing at her laughing along with the girls like she wasn't just sobbing seconds ago. "I've noticed she likes to eat, so whenever she gets upset, I give her food, and she's happy again," I say with a shrug, and Josh cracks up laughing.

"Awe, but that's cute, though. How do you feel about the whole baby thing?" He questions, taking a sip of his coffee.

I sigh and bite my lip. "I'm excited, man. I felt the baby kick for the first time last night, and it was just the best feeling in the world. Watching the girl you love, carry, and nurture your baby inside of her is just so magical--despite all the hormones." I tell him, and Josh smiles, nodding.

"I'm thrilled for you, bro. I can't wait to settle down and have a baby." Josh confesses, looking over at Aimee. I follow his gaze and smile fondly.

"How are things with you two?" Josh nods, biting his lip.

"We're great. Aimee's, unlike anyone I've ever met. She's fierce and passionate about everything she does, and I love that about her. She keeps me on my toes, that's for sure." He chuckles, looking over at her. "Do you ever wonder where we would have been right now if that night you met Shayla, you went over to Aimee instead, and I went for Shayla like we were supposed to?"

I frown and try to picture myself with Aimee and shake my head with a grimace. "Nah. I can't imagine that. I honestly can't picture my life without Shayla or how I ever lived without knowing her."

Josh chuckles and shakes his head. "I think we both ended up where we were supposed to be. Shayla's like a sister to me now. It's weird to think that I was attracted to her once."

I smirk, "Yeah, let's not open up that can of worms again. I'm just thankful everything worked out for us in the end."Isigh, and Josh nudges my shoulder, nodding.

Inever want to imagine my life without Shayla in it. She's my whole world wrapped up in a beautiful five-foot-six package.
