Standing up, I pushed past him and ran to the bathroom where the tears flowed freely despite my attempt to get them to stop. I could hear the muffled words of the guys on the other side of the paper-thin walls, the harshness of the words exchanged making me feel worse.

I looked at myself in the mirror, shaking my head at the tracks of mascara running down my cheeks, “Waterproof my ass.” Taking one of the once white washcloths, I cleaned up as best I could. My eyes were still red and puffy, but the redness on my cheeks, the proof of my emotional dump, faded.

It wasn’t long before I heard loud thuds and shouting, the obvious sound of fists connecting with skin. “Boys,” I rolled my eyes and opened the door, crossing my arms and tapping my toes as I took in the scene.

Finn’s eyes were wild as he threw punches at Ollie, the former protecting his face as Finn tried to get to it. Ollie wasn’t holding back though, taking every opportunity to hit his friend back. One particularly hard uppercut threw Finn’s head back, and he stumbled. Righting himself quickly, he came at Ollie again, pure hatred in his eyes, “I’m going to fucking kill you.”

Dane laughed and my eyes traveled to him, taking in his amused expression, “I think our girl might rip your balls off if you do.” He didn’t change his relaxed stance, leaning against the door, still naked as he was when I rushed into the bathroom. I noticed his fingers tapped against the door as if he were playing piano. One thing I’d learned about him in our time was when he itched for action, he fidgeted in the smallest ways.

He met my glare and the corner of his lip ticked up as if he were trying to hide his smile, “Speaking of the pretty lady, you can ask her now, Finn.”

Finn didn’t respond, his leg sweeping out and knocking Ollie to the ground. In a flash, he was on top and his hands wrapped around my blonde charmer’s throat, “You made her cry. No one hurts my vixen.”

Ollie’s face was turning purple, and he struggled to get the words out, his voice raspy, “No.”

As much as I loved the way they fought, I was sure Finn was caught in his rage and not thinking straight. I had no choice but to intervene, especially when Ollie’s body stopped moving and I knew he was close to passing out.

Looking at Dane to intervene, he lifted a brow, not moving to do anything. He left it on me, maybe the best thing to do, “Finn, let him go!” I shouted, stepping forward and putting a hand on his shoulder.

His rage-filled eyes bored into me and, on instinct, I leaned back. Part of me knew he would never hurt me, yet I’d never stepped between him and his prey before. His chest heaved as he continued to stare and I repeated, “Let him go.”

I heard Ollie gasp for air and knew Finn loosened his grip enough to let him breathe, but any wrong move could put him right back where he started. Slowly, I leaned into him, brushing my lips against his ear. When he didn’t move, I peppered kisses down his neck, across his cheek, and on his tight lips. He wouldn’t give for me, still lost in his rage. Whispering against his lips, I promised, “I’m okay. No one hurt me, Finn.”

Finally, he relaxed, his lips touching mine like a feather, just a wisp, as if he were testing to make sure I was real. Or maybe he was testing to make sure he wouldn’t hurt me. Whatever the reason, soon it was replaced with a passion so strong it almost knocked me off my feet, or would have if it weren’t for him sweeping me off my feet.

I heard Ollie grunt as Finn drew me to his body, sitting me atop Ollie’s face, my body pressed tightly against my fighter. He held me and kissed me as if he’d die without me and I melted into it. As Ollie’s wet mouth touched my center, I moaned into Finn’s mouth, suddenly loving the idea of being naked all the time. It sure was convenient.

I jumped as the phone rang, some old thing from who knew how long ago. Dane picked it up, and I only heard part of the conversation, my body too enveloped in the pleasure Ollie and Finn were inflicting on me. “I tripped. We’ll keep it down. Okay,” Dane’s voice was clipped and soon I heard the TV volume go up, assuming to cover the sounds I was about to make. With Ollie eating me like I was the last meal on earth, I shattered, crying out as I trembled against Finn.

“Alright Finn. Let our woman go. We need to talk about what happened,” Dane finally intervened at the worst time.

Finn’s grip tightened, but he released his lips only to shoot back, “She’s not okay.”

“I am,” I tried to tell him, waving off my meltdown. “It’s just hormones or something.” With an IUD, I didn’t have periods anymore, but I felt no guilt in lying.

Finn picked me up and stood cradling me as he spoke, “We’ll go get you some chocolate and woman things. Just tell us what you need. Or maybe you should go with because we might end up with cotton balls or something useless.”

My body shook, and he thought I was crying again, making shushing sounds as he rocked me. This made me laugh harder, and I snorted, making his body stiffen. I pulled away and looked at his horrified face, giggles erupting from me to the point where my belly hurt. I couldn’t stop, especially when Dane held the same furrowed brows.

“I can’t breathe,” I wheezed out in between fits of laughter, falling on the floor as I tried to stop. Dane took a step forward ever so slowly, as if he were approaching a wild animal. Gulping down my laughter, I breathed out, “Damn, you all are clueless. We’ve been together for months and I’ve never turned down sex a single day. I think you’d all notice a bloody dick.”

“What?” Dane hissed out, his eyes dark.

“I have an IUD. Birth control where I don’t get my period or get pregnant. Jesus H. Christ, do you all know nothing about menstruation?” The dumbfounded looks on their faces told me everything I needed to know.

Dane stepped back, his lips curling back as I explained it to them, “Nope, I don’t want to hear any more. Keep that IUD thing forever.”

“You don’t have to worry about that. I never want kids,” I brought up the topic we never spoke of, realizing there was so much we needed to learn about each other.

“Me either,” Finn agreed, with the others following close behind with the same answer.

Dane grabbed a bottle of whiskey and took a drink straight from the bottle before handing it to me. I took a swig, loving the burn as it went down as much as I liked the end of the long overdue conversation. “So, what are we going to do to keep ourselves occupied in this town, Ollie?”

The man knew everything about every single town we were traveling to on our spree. He wiped the blood from his nose with the back of his hand before answering, “There’s a racetrack and a gun range. Take your pick.”

“I’d much rather be in on the action. Gun range is my pick. But I suppose I need to clean you two up first since I doubt they’d let us in with you looking like that,” I glowered at the two of them, still upset they hit each other over something so silly.

“First, I have something to give you,” Dane winked at me as he grasped my hand and led it to his cock. I immediately wrapped my fingers around and stroked his smooth skin, enjoying the way it hardened under my touch.
