ChapterThirty-Nine

Cillian

Declan’s man, Aidan, is waiting for us on the tarmac. He has managed to procure a 9-seater van which we all pile into, luggage and all. I’m gutted that I had to leave my knife behind, but Siobhan reassured me that she would somehow get it to me. I don’t doubt her. She has ways and means. She is impressive.

Not as impressive as Ruby. I still can’t believe she is diving into this assassination with all the gusto of a woman possessed. It is a massive turn on.

I turn to her when she slips into the seat next to me and takes my hand. Resting her head on my shoulder, she whispers in my ear, “We need to talk.”

Oh, fuck.

The universal sign of this isn’t working, so fuck off.

“Yeah?” I ask, trying to remain calm. “Before you say anything, I need to tell you something.”

“Okay,” she says and sits back.

I lean forward, not wanting the other men to hear what I have to say, especially if she is going to ditch me afterwards.

“About earlier,” I whisper. “I feel like I owe you an apology.”

She turns her face into me. “What do you mean?” she whispers back.

“I should’ve mentioned about using protection. It’s just that I haven’t had sex in about four years, so it kind of escaped my thoughts when I saw you as you were.”

“What naked and impaled on your twin’s dick?” she asks with a small laugh.

“Err, yeah,” I say, blushing furiously.

“You seriously haven’t had sex in four years?” she asks curiously.

“Mm-hm. It’s a big deal for me. Just didn’t find anyone I wanted to share that with, you know?”

“I do. I really do. I know it may not look like it, but before all of this,” she waves her hand around, “I used to prefer my own company.”

I kiss her forehead, falling even more in love with her if that’s possible. “So, I should’ve said something. I hope you know I didn’t mean any disrespect, but this has been bugging me, so I wanted to say something…explain.”

She nods. “I was going to bring this up myself,” she says. “Not because I thought you had disrespected me, not at all, but I didn’t say anything either. I was caught up in the moment. I am tested and clean and on the pill, the men are clean as well.”

He nods. “Thanks for telling me that.”

“Same,” she says. “I’m glad that you felt I was one worth sharing that with. I hope you didn’t feel pressured?” She chews her lip worriedly.

“No, not at all. I was just a bit rusty,” I reassure her with a laugh. “And not quite sure where to put myself.”

“Yeah, I know what you mean. We’ll learn together. But you definitely worked me up. I don’t squirt for just anyone,” she adds with a lewd expression on her face that arouses me further.

“Christ,” I mutter. “You are so hot.”

“Back at you,” she says and crawls into my lap.

She presses her mouth to mine and sweeps her tongue over my lips. I fist my hand in her hair and twist it roughly, claiming her mouth in a kiss that makes my stiff cock even harder.

She rubs herself over the bulge in my pants and I groan, cupping her arse. “Here?” I ask.

“Why not?” she asks, reaching in between us to unzip my pants.

“Pack it in, you two,” Declan growls. “Unless you really want to give Aidan a live sex show?”

She giggles, a faint blush tinging her cheeks. “Oops. Forgot about him,” she murmurs.

Reluctantly, she climbs off my lap, but stays next to me, cuddling me, making me feel like the only man in the world. I had my reservations about going into this relationship. Not because of her, but because I wasn’t sure she would be able to give her undivided attention to any of us. However, my worries have been laid to rest. It seems she can move from one to the other with ease and give us what we need, as well as accept all of us together. She is incredible. I just hope she knows what she is doing, Connor isn’t an easy man to take down. He is a hardened ex-IRA soldier who took over the Irish mafia in a bloody coup that left the underworld quaking in their boots. But Declan has reassured me with tales of Ruby’s own conquests. She is vicious and relentless. I have no doubt Connor will get the shock of his life when she takes him out.

I try to push the if out of my mind. I have to have faith she will do this, and when she does, we will dance on his grave.
