Through slitted eyes, she watched him, but he didn’t think she had the energy to answer. Renzo shifted his hips forward. His erection extended across her mound, and he pushed back and forth over her clit. Just as he knew would happen, her muscles began to wind up again. He could scarcely stand not to invade her heat, but he held on with rigid control. Letting the head push against her entrance but not go in, he flicked a gaze over her sexy form. His balls were at the point of aching.

“Let me suck you, baby,” she offered.

He shook his head. “It’s too late for that. I want you to play with you

r nipples for me. Yes, like that. Rub them in a circle. Squeeze your breasts.” He clenched his jaw to cut off the swear word that rose to his lips and plunged his dick deep into her pussy. Hands at her hips, he raised her up to meet his thrusts, and he pumped faster. Hot and wet, her walls closed in on his shaft, making him never wish to be free again. “Cara mia, you’re so tight!”

“Renzo, please don’t stop.”

“I have no intention of it.” Renzo pulled out until only the tip of his shaft remained inside. He locked gazes with her and raised her hips even higher. Pumping deep in and out, he took what was his, ravishing her amazing body. He watched her full breasts bounce, and when she held onto them and squeezed gently, she sent him over the edge. His control shattered, and he grunted his pleasure as he came. Holding himself buried to the hilt in her pussy, he enjoyed the feeling of emptying his seed inside her.

This was what he’d done to get her pregnant. That last time he’d been careless, but now it was deliberate. He reclaimed Jada, let her know who she belonged to, and whenever she needed reminding—and even if she didn’t—he would do it again.

He pulled out and dropped down to the bed at her side. When he drew her into his arms, she came without complaint and settled her head on his chest. He ran his fingers through her hair and listened to her heavy breathing. Worry made him furrow his brow, and all the bravado he’d displayed a moment before disappeared. “I wasn’t too rough, was I? You’re okay? The baby?”

She chuckled and then sighed in contentment. “Yes, we’re fine, but I’m thinking I could come two or three more times.”

He tapped her ass with the flat of his palm. “Rest now. I’ll consider more sex later.”

Not surprising him at all, she raised her head and glared before rolling away with her back to him. He examined that curvy ass and those widening hips, and his cock began to stir anew. Now a sigh escaped him. The next few months would be hell and more.

Chapter Nine

Five months later…

Jada took a tentative bit of food onto her fork and raised it to her mouth. As she did so, Renzo frowned at her. She did her best to hide the smile. “What? You never know. You’re still new at this.”

He folded his arms over his chest, and she admired the expansion of muscle. “I’ve been doing a good job of it for months now, and you haven’t fallen over yet.”

“Please, it’s not like you cook every day. While you have been flying over here often, you hardly ever cook. Once or twice a month, I’ll give you. Still, you’ve been doing a great job, baby. Thanks.”

That brought her to the decision she’d made days ago, but she had waited until he returned to Charlotte to bring it up with him. Jada had to give Renzo credit. He’d been patient with her—patient with her, not himself, as far as learning how to do things the way common folk did it. She had some good laughs, though, taking him into Walmart, shopping for groceries, cooking, and cleaning. Only seeing all the various tasks through his eyes did she realize how much she took for granted—in a sort of reverse way than he did having servants to do his bidding. She didn’t resent Renzo for his money, though. He was a good man, a humble and hard-working one. She’d learned that most of all, which was why she’d come to her decision.

“I was thinking,” she began and laid down her fork.

“Yes?” The way his lips compressed she knew he thought she would criticize his cooking again.

“I’d like to be your wife. I mean if the offer is still on the table.” Embarrassment brought heat to her face, and her scalp tingled.

Renzo’s expression softened, and he approached her. Her tiny kitchen always seemed smaller with him in it, but it felt less lonely too. “The offer never left the table. Are you sure?”

“Yes, I am. In fact, I already gave my notice at work, and I’m going to have my friend wrap up things here. I shouldn’t have waited so long.” She ran a hand over her broad belly. Not once in the past few months had she believed Renzo wasn’t attracted to her. Even at eight months, she saw the glow of desire in his eyes. “I guess we can find an airline that will let me fly if my doctor says it’s fine.”

Amusement brightened Renzo’s gaze.

“What?”

“I don’t know how to tell you this.”

She frowned. “Just come out and say it, Renzo. If we’re going to be married, we should be able to tell each other anything.”

He ran a hand over his dark hair, giving her a desire to do the same to feel the silky smoothness beneath her fingertips. Damn it, she loved this man too much. If he only knew how much he meant to her.

“I own a jet.”

Jada blinked at him.

“It’s nothing special, small, not the latest model.” He cleared his throat.
