“Yes,” I purred. “I just want to make you feel like a Prince.”
He began to nod, then groaned again as my thumbs skimmed over the round head. His shaft felt like it was alive, pulsing in my hands. As if there was a pressure inside about to burst. Stroking him steadily, I determined which areas made him groan the loudest.
Watching a few beads of liquid appear at the tip was unbelievably satisfying. His face became slightly flushed, his breathing rapid. Having this effect on him was driving me wild. Controlling a giant man through my light touch was intoxicatingly powerful.
Realizing what was about to happen at any moment, I grabbed a kerchief, placing it across his stomach.
Pulling my hands along his skin more quickly, I massaged his tremendous length, staring into his dark eyes as he seemed to lose all control.
“Althea,” he choked, grabbing my shoulders and pulling my mouth to his.
This time his kisses weren’t polite, intended to send a message to others. It was like when we were in the chamber, and I was going to explode like fireworks. His lips moved against mine with pure, raw need. Lust.
His throaty growl filled the carriage as his rigid length seemed to plump up even more before shuddering in my hands, spilling his seed all over the kerchief. His tongue slipped into my mouth, mingling with my own as he lost himself completely.
When Trax finally leaned back, I couldn’t stop grinning, making him chuckle.
“I have to say, my naughty little Princess, I’m not sure which one of us enjoyed that more.” He kissed me again, staring into my eyes. “Thank you.” I folded up the kerchief as I sat back down beside him.
The rain had turned into a light mist and the wind was dying down. Snuggling against Trax’s shoulder, his arm around me, kept me warm enough that I was able to doze off for a while.
Then his heavy hand stroked my hair. “Your highness, we’ve reached our new town.”
Sitting up, I stuck my head out the window so that I could look forward. All of the townsfolk were gathered outside their houses to wave us along.
“I’d rather hoped that we could be fairly unknown here,” Trax said, “But I guess with all of the royal servants fixing up our house today, they figured it out.”
“That’s one secret that never keeps,” I said. “But as soon as it’s just us, maybe they will relax. I hope so. Now smile and wave.”
We greeted our new neighbors, waving wildly out the sides of the carriage.
As we arrived at a large white house, the two transport carts were already leaving. As we swept into our lovely new home, I admired the freshly painted exterior , newly scrubbed and arranged interior, and the elegant little touches our art curator had arranged.
Yet it was far more amusing to watch Trax. He seemed positively stunned.
“When I mentioned getting away from the castle, I thought maybe we could get a small cottage. This is…marvelous.”
I went over to the curator , who would be taking our carriage back to the castle. Clasping his hands in mine, I smiled. “Gretsch, You have absolutely outdone yourself. The house is stunning. I will arrange a double bonus for your incredible speed.”
He bowed deeply, gently slipping his hands from mine as if he was afraid to touch me for more than a second. “Your highness, I am deeply honored that you appreciate my work. Congratulations on your marriage.”
Gretsch had been on my father’s staff for years, and always seemed like a kindly uncle. As soon as Trax wandered into the kitchen to look around, he whispered, “A bit rough around the edges, but good bone structure. You two will have beautiful children, your highness.”
I laughed as he bowed again. “The pantry is full and there are accounts set up at all of the local shops, including the tavern,” he said. “Have a wonderful honeymoon.” Gretsch rushed out the front door, and as Trax returned, I realized that we were finally completely alone.
“Are you tired?” I asked. “Should we go to bed early tonight?”
“You go to bed if you like, your highness,” he said a bit stiffly. “I’m going to take a walk around the village and get to know the lay of the land.”
“Can’t that wait until tomorrow?” I asked.
“I can’t protect you if I don’t know what’s here,” he said. “Get some rest, and I’ll see you in the morning.”
I couldn’t believe that he simply left.
Going into the kitchen, I watched the sunset’s purple streaks through the large window as I ate a little bread and cheese
