Her sniff challenged everyone to contradict her, which they didn’t.

Tess glanced at Jonah, who shrugged and made a face, letting her know he’d be okay with whatever arrangement she wanted. She whirled back to Bailey, smiling big. “Sounds like you’re going to have four roommates instead of one.”

“Yeah.” Bailey groaned loudly. “The joy.” She scowled at a grinning Tess and Jonah. “I better freaking find that cowboy quick, because being around both you and Paige with your icky, cuddly boyfriends without having my own icky cuddly boyfriend is going to drive me insane.”

Linda grew up on a dairy farm in the Midwest as the youngest of eight children. Now she lives in Kansas with her husband, toddler daughter, and their nine cuckoo clocks.
