We agree a time and place for our date. I think that he must just be grouchy because we could have got caught. Next time, I’ll choose a better place, maybe I’ll suggest a stock cupboard.

Chapter 4 Tequila Sunrise

I arrive at a local bar, one where lots of students from the university hang out, but that’s okay because it means it’s not expensive. Though I’m surprised at Matthew’s choice of venue, I’d have thought him to be a little more upmarket.

I’m a bit relieved when I spot him sat at a table as I didn’t fancy sitting in a bar on my own. He would probably have thought of this, he knows me well. Then I see that he’s not alone, there’s another guy sat with him. Maybe it’s just someone he’s bumped into, I’m sure we can move on to another bar so we can be alone.

He seems to have spotted me because he stands up to greet me with a lovely smile on his face and an open arm embrace.

“Leah, what you drinking these days?” he asks.

“Well, seeing as we’re in a Cocktail Bar, I’ll have one of them. I want one with all the trimmings, what would you recommend?” I say to him.

I have to say, I’m really keen on making this date work, seeing Matthew out of his shirt and tie, he’s even sexier. He has on a great hat, like a wider brimmed trilby and it suits him, especially with his dark glasses. His grey t-shirt fits snugly to his firm abs, showing his hairy but well muscled arms. I’d forgotten how long his legs were, it’s hard to tell when a man’s in a suit everyday. But, his black jeans really show off his slender, long legs and tight ass. Rounding off with his pointed toe boots, he looks really hot, and eatable.

“I would recommend the Tequila Sunrise,” the guy sat with him suggests as he raises a glass of that exact same drink.

Smiling back at him, I agree that I would love to try it and, in fact, the guy sat with him is the one to go to the bar.

“That’s good of him,” I say to Matthew, “he doesn’t even know me and he’s buying me a drink.”

“Actually, Leah, he does know you,” Matthew says, holding my hand.

“Oh, is he a student, I worked in the shop for years and loads of people knew me there

?” I laugh.

“No, he knows you because I’ve told him about you,” Matthew was talking about to me to his mates, wow, I’m in with a chance of a renewed relationship then.

The guy arrives back with drinks for all, on a tray. He’s not bad looking actually, but there’s something not quite right about him, and I can’t put my finger on it.

“Leah, this is Nico,” Matthew introduces us. “He’s joining us for the evening because he’s my partner.”

“Oh, your also in to Real Estate, I think everybody is at the moment, it seems fashionable,” I blurt out, realizing he’s some sort of work colleague, though not from our place. “Are you leaving Matthew?” I ask, suddenly thinking that perhaps this guy is head hunting.

“No, Leah, not my business partner, my lover,” he says, just like that.

“Oh, I see, you mean that you don’t like me anymore?” is all I can think to say.

“Of course I like you, why wouldn’t I?”

“Because you like Nico.”

“Actually, Leah, I like you too,” Matthew tells me.

“Oh, I see, well, I don’t see, I don’t really know what you mean,” I say, a little puzzled. “Are you gay or not?” I ask, wondering if they’re just winding me up.

“Here’s the thing, Leah,” Matthew says, taking a hold of my hand. “We like group sex. We like each other and we like women too. So, I told Nico about you and we wondered if you’d like a date with us both?”

“Are you asking me out, together?” I ask, still puzzled. “I’m not too sure, to be honest, Matthew. I wouldn’t want to share you with another woman, but I haven’t ever thought about going out with two men. I’m not even sure I’d know who does what, if you know what I mean.”

“Look, we want to ask you over for dinner, and then it’s up to you,” Matthew explains. “Nico has prepared all the food, he’s a great cook, you coming?”

As it happens, I hadn’t eaten because I thought we were going to a restaurant, but why not, I like Matthew and Nico seems sweet.

“If you say yes,” Nico speaks this time, “I can make you some of those cocktails, I have all the supplies at home. You game?”

I pick up my glass to raise a toast, “I’m game,” I say, and we all clink our glasses together, laughing.
