Unlike those nothing ass females out there looking for a come up, she had her own shit going on. Murder knew that since the breakup, she hadn’t been entertaining any other niggas. She stayed to herself, not hanging with a bunch of gossiping birds. That’s what caught his eye the most about her. He was sure that after the way Pain left her, she was gonna turn into a bitter hoe out in these streets. You know one of those females who has been hurt by men, so they’re determined to fuck all their friends and family.

From what he knew, she had picked up and went on about her life like the break up was just a bump in the road. He decided it was time for him to take his ass home after sitting there for so long. He locked up the shop and headed to his car. Looking up, he noticed that Law Baby’s car was at the little hole in the wall bar across the street. After standing there looking at the car for a few minutes, he decided to just drop in to check on her before going home.

Shoving his keys in his pockets, he headed across the street. When he walked in, he scanned the place looking for Law Baby. He found her sitting at the bar with her loud ass cousin. Murder shook his head because he knew if he was gonna try to have anything with her, he would have to learn to tolerate her cousin.

“Why are you in a bar if you bought two big ass bottles from the liquor store earlier?” he said as he bent over to whisper in her ear.

“It’s a free country. I can move around as I please. What do you want, Murder?” she said.

He stared at Law Baby, resisting the urge to say that he wanted her, and he wanted all of her.

“Just making sure you’re good. Who’s driving?” he asked, sitting down beside them.

“Oh, hell nah. We didn’t invite you to sit with us,” Nell said.

“It’s a free country, shawty. I know you heard her,” Murder told Nell.

She rolled her eyes and started mumbling.

“Isn’t there some unwritten rule or man law that you can’t get with your homie’s ex girl? All this flirting and shit you were doing earlier and now has to stop,” Lawrynn said.

Murder laugh

ed at her before getting quiet again.

“How’s the new house?” Murder asked Lawrynn, ignoring what she said a second ago.

“Murder, I know you think this is a game, but it’s not. I’m not gonna sit here and make you think you have a chance with me. I can’t deal with you like that. It just feels wrong,” she told him.

“Check this shit out, Law Baby. I’m not trying to hear shit you saying right now. Fuck whatever rules or man law you talking about. That nigga don’t deserve your respect while he out here knocking up ya cousin. I would never do some shit like that to you. Fuck him, and I told him that shit earlier in my own way. He dropped the motherfucking ball with you. I tried to tell him over and over again that he was gonna lose you to a real motherfucker. He ain’t believe me. I bet his ass know the deal now.

“I gotta have you, no way around it. I’m not talking about just some fucking type of shit either. I’m talking about your heart, soul, pussy, all that shit. I want it all, even if I have to tolerate her aggy ass,” he said and pointed at Nell. She politely smiled as she gave him the middle finger. “I’m gonna do everything I can to make you Mrs. Murder, just don’t have me killing too many motherfuckers in the process,” Murder told her.

He stood to his feet then bent over to kiss her on the lips nice and slow. In the process of breaking the kiss, he sucked on her bottom lip.

Murder then took some money out of his pocket and tossed it on the bar. “Aye, Mac, this should cover whatever they’re drinking. If they go over, I’ll come pay the tab off in the morning. Make sure they get home safe, even if you have to call me to come pick them up,” he told the bartender before leaving without another word.

“Damn, that shit made my pussy jump. Bitch, let me find out you gonna marry Jason from Friday the Thirteenth. How the hell he know you moved?” Nell asked as they watched him walk out the door.

“What the hell just happen?” Lawrynn asked.

“I think you got a boyfriend. Hold up, didn’t he say he was paying for our drinks? Bartender, I need a bottle of Ace of Spades and a glass,” Nell said and laughed.

“Make that two glasses,” Lawrynn said, shaking her head.

Lawrynn was stirred awake by the sun shining on her face. Her head was hurting so badly it was hard for her to open her eyes.

“I should’ve took your little drunk ass home to your spot last night. If you got a drinking problem, we need to go ahead and get you in a fucking rehab. What the fuck was you thinking last night, Law Baby?” Murder barked at her.

“Ouch, where the hell am I? What do you mean you were gonna take me home? How do you know where I live? What the fuck, Murder?” she asked as she sat up in the bed.

It was then that she realized she didn’t have any clothes on. She looked down at herself, even lifted the covers to see if her thoughts were wrong. Well, they weren’t. She was as naked as the day she was born. Lawrynn looked up at him, ready to fight if she didn’t feel like a truck had run over her four times already.

“Chill, nothing happened between us. You threw up on me, my porch, and your small ass outfit last night. I had to take your clothes off and burn them shits. Other than putting you in the shower and washing you up, nothing happened. I’m not into forcing myself up in anybody’s pussy. It’s mine anyway, but when I get up in there, you’re gonna be spread wide open and begging,” he told her.

Lawrynn was thinking of a smart-ass response when there was banging on his door. He opened a drawer and threw a shirt and some shorts to her.
