Desire coursed through Abbi’s veins as Chase slid his hands lovingly over her body admiring her curves as if she were a golden treasure. A smile of approval curled his lips and this warmed her soul. The sweet scent of his cologne had such a calming effect on her. His skin felt, oh so, soft and silky.

He slid his hands between her folds and caressed her in a sweet circular motion as she moaned with delight. "Oh, you’re so ready for me, aren’t you? You’re so wet," he groaned hoarsely.

He then pressed his sweet lips to hers again caressing and sucking on them. Abbi loved what he did with his tongue, taking his time. She knew he wanted to give her a massage. But this was not what she had in mind. It was much better. Deliciously better. Her body tingled from head to toe. A sense of urgency surged through her to be intimate with him again. She felt his hard erection behind his zipper. Abbi couldn't think of anyone else inside her but Chase.

“I have a condom with me,” he assured her, in a low sexy voice.

“Hmm,” she groaned into his lips. She could not help but smiling with pleasure. Oh, those soft sexually potent lips of his.

There was no doubt that Chase was dripping with charm and sexiness from head to toe.

He slid his tongue down Abbi’s neck, kissing her soft and gently as he moved further down her body. His hand caressed her breast then slid across to her nipple tweaking it between his thumb and forefinger while delight shivered through her body. She felt her inner thighs throb with need.

His soft lips moved down lower to her abdomen again. Excitement washed over her anticipating his soft lips to her intimacy, and she spread her legs eagerly awaiting him. Chase thrust his tongue inside her folds. Sucking on her and French kissing her sex. His silky feel warmed her. She breathed heavily, writhing on the massage table as he kissed her gently and passionately until she came hard and fast, her body convulsing with carnal pleasure.

Her spine tingled. Her body felt weak and numb. Abbi felt so satisfied and relaxed, she couldn't wait to return the pleasure to Chase. But this time she would be more ready and adventurous. Not as shy as she was the first time they’d made love. She led him on his back and switched positions. She eagerly and quickly undid his pants and freed his erection. She gave him a naughty look, a very sexy one, then licked the top of his erection swirling her tongue over the top as he groaned with pleasure. She rubbed his erection against her skin enjoying the feel of him. Then she went back down on him. This time she asked him for the condom. She delighted in opening the package and rolling it over his hardness. She got on top of him and drew a deep breath in as she lowered her inner thighs over him. "Oh," she groaned with ecstasy as she slid her body over his erection. His hardness filled her completely. And Abbi moved her hips sensuously up-and-down over his manhood. Grinding into his hips as they both moved in harmony. He massaged her breasts and her nipples as she moved over him, sexually pleasing him as she came again with deep pleasure. Her body vibrated. Soon after, Chase came hard and fast, his body going into a spasm. Abbi lowered herself onto him again breathlessly yet panting heavy, and she kissed him passionately.

"Chase or Chad, I don't even care what your name is or what you have. I just want you to know I love you for who you are. I love you," she said, breathing heavy.

He looked stunned at first, his gaze seductively penetrating her eyes. Then a grin of approval touched his lips.

"That's exactly the words I want to hear. Because I'm never letting you go again. God, I love you so much, Abbi."

They embraced and tenderly held each other, pressing soft kisses intermittently, almost forgetting where they were. But that didn’t matter, did it? They were in each other’s arms. That’s what mattered now, in the moment.

Abbi didn’t know where this relationship would go but she had a very strong feeling about it going in the direction of somewhere good. And for the first time in her life, she really knew what it felt like to be…in love.

Epilogue

Two months later…

Chase snaked his arms around Abbi’s waist and held her from behind as they both stood on top of the terrace at the Belmont Palace on a warm summer night, gazing up at the twinkling stars in the night sky.

“It’s a gorgeous night,” Abbi commented, feeling warm and cozy in his strong arms, leaning back into his muscular chest. They’d just had a wonderful day horseback riding on the estate up north. She’d already had the pleasure of meeting his wonderful family and they were all so amazing. No wonder Chase was the way he was. He came from a noble background. All good-natured people who were witty, charming and loving. Abbi could smell the aroma of dinner cooking, baked honey chicken and a feast coming from the kitchen nearby. They were about to go inside to have dinner.

“Not half as gorgeous as you are, princess,” Chase said, his voice deep and low and smooth like honey.

A grin curled her lips and Abbi couldn’t help but beam. The delicious scent of his cologne wafted to her nostrils. He smelled positively enticing. She couldn’t believe this was really happening. She was in a loving, stable relationship with Chase Belmont. And the past was behind her—well, at least for now.

Eduardo was arrested a couple of months earlier for theft and embezzlement of funds from his own company, not to mention for the various nefarious practices that had caught up with him. Abbi couldn’t believe that the guy who hired him, Jake Jackson, got out of that one, since Jake denied hiring Eduardo directly and said he owned a hotel guide magazine and Eduardo was probably hired to rate the hotel. They’d tried to pin it on Abbi saying that she’d had something to do with writing bad reviews, but that was all cleared up. All thanks to Brandon’s detective agency who had some wire taps installed to prove Eduardo’s deception and Abbi’s innocence.

She wanted to leave it all behind now.

It pained Abbi’s mind to even think about all that.

It was all behind her. And Chase was right; they’d gotten off on the wrong foot or a false start. Who could blame him for being angry when he’d found out who she was, or what she did? Especially after what his ex did to him. Abbi shivered inside thinking of the disgrace and humiliation that Chase must have gone through. She felt so protective of him. She always had from day one, oddly enough.

The past few months, they’d spent a lot of quality time together, getting to know each other even better, enjoying all the fun stuff together like everything. They’d been to a Star Trek convention in LA and of course, Comic-Con, going as their favorite characters. It was amazing.

“You know, I read somewhere that the main ingredient in a healthy, happy relationship is not just finding someone who can be there for you at your lowest,” she said.

“Really? What else is most important?”

“Finding someone who’s there for you in your good times is ranked as number one,” she said, a smile on her face.

“Well, now that makes a lot of sense, doesn’t it?”

“Yes, it does. To me, it really makes sense. My parents split up because, well, even though my dad tried to make amends and come back to my mom, they really didn’t have anything in common to begin with. They both hated each other’s hobbies and couldn’t even sit down to laugh at the same movie because their tastes were so different. I wonder what would have happened if they’d been able to share the same interests. I wonder sometimes how they even got together in the first place…I’m sorry to babble on like this. I’m just so…scared…”

“Of what?”

“Of starting a relationship and not knowing where it will go.”

“Shh,” Chase said, his voice comforting her. What was it about that smooth silky voice of his that resonated with Abbi? “Don’t even think about that, Abbi. You and I have a lot in common. I can’t even see how my days went by without you now that we know each other. It’s crazy. I look forward to seeing you every day, talking to you and discussing everything that’s on my mind, even silly stuff. Love is about being yourself around the one you love and not being afraid to be you. If that doesn’t do it, I don’t know what will.”

She smiled. “Thanks, Chase. I really needed to hear that. What would I do without you? I know I need to work on being more confident with…things working out.”

“And things will work out,” he said. “We can both move forward now.”

She smiled.

“Hey,” he said, pulling out a small gold-plated telescope from his jacket. “I’ve got something for you.”

He handed her the telescope. She noticed it was engraved with her initials.

“Oh, my God! Chase, this is beautiful.”

“And it’s small enough to fit in your purse so that no matter where you are, you can always see stars at night. No more of that tiny binoculars thing.”

She hugged him with all the love in her body.

“Chase, thank you,” she said, opening the telescope. She then proceeded to look through it to see stars.

“I…I don’t see anything, Chase.”

“You don’t? Maybe, you’re not looking hard enough.”

She rolled her eyes and put down the telescope. She then proceeded to examine it and she stopped cold.
