“It’s still May and she’s come back to us. Let go of me, you beast!”

Laughing, he released her, and she rushed straight into Maddy’s embrace. Tears poured down Maddy’s face as they hugged each other. “It’s so good to be home,” she choked out.

My chest tightened and I rubbed the sore spot over my ribs. Our wife had been right. Home wasn’t a place. It was wherever Maddy and Justin were. Our neighbors surrounded us, filling the air with good cheer and congratulations for bringing her back.

The men of Bridgewater unloaded Maddy’s belongings into wagons, promising to deliver them to our ranch. I sighed with happy resignation, knowing we’d have to add a room or two to the house where we would hopefully be raising a family soon.

Dashiell McPherson clapped me on the shoulder. “Good work bringing that sweet girl home,” he murmured, watching the ladies of Bridgewater take Maddy in hand. “Your ranch was well-tended while you were gone, but I’m afraid that stallion of hers is a randy beast. You’ll have a right mess of foals come spring.” Shaking his head, he chuckled. “Caught two of my mares when Rebecca and I were out there.”

The crowd followed us home, bringing food and drink for a celebration. Someone even had a fiddle and we danced with our wife until the stars lit up the wide Montana sky like diamonds in a vast sea of velvet.

Late snow dusted us as if in blessing. Maddy spun, catching snowflakes on her tongue that melted in the warm spring air before they hit the ground. I swallowed, trying to ease the ache in my chest at the thought of how close we’d come to losing her.

A hard hand clasped mine, our fingers lacing together as we watched her joy. “She’s home,” Justin murmured.

“Safe,” I agreed. “And we’ll never let her go.”

MADDY

* * *

Maddy May. I chuckled at my new name. It struck me funny, but seemed apropos. May was associated with ancient celebration; the time of rebirth and burgeoning life. Did I not have a new life here under the protective shelter of wild Montana mountains with two men I loved to distraction?

Imagine that. I’d have been happy with a husband I didn’t actively hate. Instead, I had two magnificent men I was proud to call mine. And tonight, I’d be theirs, body and soul. I couldn’t wait.

Our guests drifted away, wives safely in the arms of their husbands as they left. I let out a happy sigh as the last of them made their way home. Although I was thrilled at the welcome I’d received, I looked forward to being alone with my husbands.

I waved the last of our visitors away, then went inside. Justin stood at the kitchen sink, washing his bare torso. Muscles flexed in his back under smooth ebony skin, begging for my touch.

My core dampened and my limbs went boneless with surging desire as I walked to him, loosening the buttons on my bodice. “Let me,” I murmured, taking the cloth from him.

Caleb joined us, bare but for a towel draped across his broad shoulders. Sprawling lazily in a kitchen chair, he fisted his thick cock, rubbing his thumb over the swollen crown as he watched me bathe Justin. My breath hitched in my throat and I nearly dropped the cloth.

“I wish I hadn’t been in such a hurry to wash,” he murmured, his voice a low baritone that made my insides twitch in response.

His skin glistening with moisture, Justin took the cloth from me. “We should show her the surprise.”

“What surprise?”

“Why, I think you’re right,” Caleb replied, ignoring my question. Grinning a Lucifer smile, he tugged my dress away, baring me to my husbands’ avid perusal. Without giving me a chance to protest, they bundled me in a blanket. The next thing I knew, I was astride Prince, Justin behind me. His cock was so hot against my bottom, and between the movement of my horse between my legs and his presence behind me, I couldn’t say a word in my defense.

Caleb vaulted to his mare’s back and led the way across the darkened pastures to a hidden recess under the escarpment I hadn’t had time to explore.

Steam rose from a small pool, smelling faintly of minerals and sulphur. I gasped in pleasure as Justin helped me down, then let the blanket fall away and dipped my toe into the hot water.

“You never told me of this,” I murmured. I couldn’t decide whether to castigate them for not showing me this magical place, or kiss them soundly for the surprise. I supposed it was better they hadn’t told me. I’d have likely spent every waking hour soaking in the hot water.

“It was supposed to be a gift on the night we took you fully,” Caleb said, helping me into the pool.

I groaned as I sank into the hot water. “I love Montana,” I breathed.

“And we love you, Maddy May,” Justin whispered settling into the water next to me, turning my face so he could kiss me.

My heart nearly burst and tears pricked my eyes. I wasn’t sure I’d ever cried so much in my life, but these were tears of joy. Such happiness must be a sin, but I’d grab it with both hands and thank the Lord for every moment.

“Are you ready for us?” Caleb asked, kneeling at my feet.

“More than ready.” I laid hands on their dear faces, pulling them close. “Make me yours.”
