With his free arm, he unfastened his jeans and let them drop to the floor. He turned us around so he lay on the bed. “Get on top of me and put my cock in your pussy.”
I had to grip the mattress when I was certain those words alone would be my unraveling. I took a couple of deep breaths, climbed up on the bed, then straddled him.
“Now, little dove.” He sounded as on edge as I felt, easing myself down on his hardness.
“Oh, God,” I moaned when it felt deeper than it had been before.
“Fuck me the way you like me to fuck you.”
He kept his hand on my waist to steady me as I increased my pace, eased off him, then thrust down. Ilovedit when he did that to me.
I was close to having another orgasm when Trevino flipped us both over. He pulled outof me, grabbed a condom from the bedside table, and in what seemed like mere seconds, he’d put it on and was inside me again.
I wrapped my legs around his waist and put my hands on his shoulders, digging into his flesh with my fingernails when I felt like I was ready to burst. He stilled when I squeezed him with my pussy, pulsing inside me. “God, Eberly,” he groaned as much as said. “It’s never been this good.”
Warmth spread through me. “Really?”
Trevino kissed me. It was long, hard, and deep, answering my question far better than words ever could.
“There aremany things we need to discuss today,” Trevino said when we sat on the deck, eating breakfast after he gave in and allowed me to get dressed.
“My father,” I said, taking a spoonful of yogurt, granola, and fruit. “Tiernan. My house. The winery. Does that about cover it?”
“Close. There is also the matter of your protection. I would like to ask Los Caballeros to set up a schedule so there are at least two people with us at all times.”
I choked on my coffee. “With us?”
“I meant on the property when we’re here or anywhere, really.”
“Do you really believe I’m in danger?”
He sighed and rested against the chair. “I’m confident that today will bring at least some answers. Our priorities are to find your father and learn the real identity of Tiernan Burke.”
“Do you believe my dad’s alive?”
Trevino reached across the table and took my hand. “I do, and there are several reasons why. Something more is at play here, and while we don’t know for certain, the most obvious would be that Burke pursued a relationship with you due to your family’s wealth. At the same time, your father was facing financial difficulties that began with your mother’s illness and the medical expenses he incurred.”
“Compounding it was the pandemic, followed by a drop in wine sales further exacerbated by overproduction,” I added.
“What else?” he asked.
“I can’t explain it, but I don’t believe my father willingly mortgaged the house or sold the winery. Even if he felt up against a wall, he would’ve asked for help. Ican’t believe he’d destroy everything our family built over decades in five years.”
Trevino squeezed my fingers. “I think you’re right, and it makes me happy to hear you’re giving Malcolm the benefit of the doubt.”
“It’s amazing how great sex followed by the best sleep I’ve had in weeks has given me the clarity I didn’t possess twenty-four hours ago.”
He smiled and brought my hand to his lips. The love I saw in his eyes warmed me all over. It was love, wasn’t it? As crazy as it sounded, it had to be.
“Trevino, I…”
“We are going to work on your inability to finish your sentences.” He sighed, but winked. “Let me think. What would be a good consequence to help break you of the habit?”
My mouth gaped. “Are you serious?”
“Half.” He took a bite of the muffin he’d warmed for himself.
“Half what? Serious?”
