“Sage?”

I pause.

Niki’s voice hits me like a ton of bricks.

“What are you doing here?”

My hands are sweating and I turn to look at him. He makes my mouth go dry. I’ve been living mostly sober and wish I’d had a sip of bourbon. “I…”

His green eyes seem to glow, and water drips out of his close cropped hair that’s gleaming. The towel is barely holding back and I know he’s hard.

Jesus Christ…

Niki smiles and snaps his fingers in front of my face. “Hey, eyes up here ma’am. What are you doing here.”

Shaking my head to clear away the fog, “My grades came in.”

He smirks. “And?”

“You’re really going to make me say it?”

He nods. “Hell yeah.”

I wrinkle my nose, “I’m….”

“Go on,” he encourages.

“I’m yours. I’ve always been yours. And I probably love you.”

He pulls me in and drops a kiss on my lips. “Three months, Kitten. Three months of proving to you that I’m yours. Giving you space…”

He steps back and winks.

“I have a few graduation gifts if you will,” he goes into the top drawer and pulls out a few things.

One card and one giant envelope are placed on the bed before, and I stare at them.

“What is it?”

“Just open them,” he states.

Naturally, I go for the largest envelope first. Carefully, I unfold the documents and read. I’m in shock. “Really.”

“You can thank your brother-in-law for that one,” Niki smiles sheepishly.

“Which one….let me guess….Damien. Strip clubs don’t go with the brand.” I am now the sole owner of The Crescent. Elation moves from the tips of my toes to the top of my head.

“He said you’d be pleased, and I can tell you are.”

“I might be feeling that particular emotion,” I look up and point to the card. “Tell me its ten million cash.”

Niki rolls his eyes. “You’re going to bankrupt me. Just open it, Kitten.”

My pussy quivers.

God, I just might have missed hearing him say that damn name. With a deep breath,I pick up and open the card. The second it opens up, three items fall to the floor. Quickly, I scoop them up and I can’t believe my eyes.

I’m stunned.
