I slam into her a few more times before I explode, digging my fingers into Jana’s thighs. “Jana,” I shout as I feel like I’m torn in two. After we all start to recover, I pull out of Jana and yank off the condom, tossing it in the trash. I kiss Erica, before leaning down to kiss Jana.
Erica climbs off the bed and begins to get dressed. She realizes what this is and I’m grateful for it. “This was a hell of a lot of fun, but I need to go.”
I don’t say anything, just nod like I would any other time. Turning my attention back to Jana, she has her eyes closed and she’s still breathing heavily. Once I hear the bedroom door close, I lay down next to Jana, letting my hand rest on her stomach.
“Jana.” She opens her eyes and I use my other hand to push the hair off of her face. “You alright?”
She rolls onto her side, never breaking eye contact. “That was not what I expected,” she whispers.
Rubbing her arm, I lightly chuckle. “In a good way I hope.”
That huge smile she wears finds its way to her face. “Yes,” she whispers, as her eyes start to flutter closed.
I pull the comforter over both of us and as I lay my head down, she wraps a slender arm around me, resting her head on my chest. This doesn’t happen normally, I don’t allow it. But there is something about Jana, something I’ve never experienced and having her delicate, fully sated, naked body pressed against me, it feels almost like she belongs there.

When I left for work this morning, Jana was still sleeping. I didn’t want to wake her, so after watching her for a bit, studying the way her full lips were slightly parted and the way her slender arms rested under the pillow. Her delicate shoulders were the last of her visible flesh, but I knew under that pale blue comforter laid the most enticing body I’d ever seen. If it hadn’t been for this meeting, I’d have climbed back into bed.
“Mr. Tate, they are ready for you in the conference room,” my secretary says through the intercom.
Adjusting my hard cock, from thoughts of Jana, I make my way to the conference room. Pushing through the glass doors, I give a slight nod to the six men sitting around the large wooden table. A breakfast spread is laid out, everything from fruit to omelets, in the center of the table. A coffee station is situated on the credenza buffet off to the side, and as I stand at my chair at the head of the table, Romona places my coffee in front of me.
“Gentlemen, thanks for meeting with me this morning,” I say, sitting in the oversized leather chair.
“Mr. Tate, if I may say, we’d really appreciate a little more time,” Stu, one of the other company’s lawyers, says.
Taking a sip of coffee, I nod to Romona, instructing her to pass out the paperwork. “Stu, we both know I’ve been more than lenient with this, but I won’t wait any longer.”
“It’s only a few more days. It’s the least you could do for Christ’s sake,” he mumbles.
Fury buries through me as I stand up, slamming my fists to the table. “The least I could do is not fucking bankrupt your law firm too, Stu. I don’t own anyone anything, I don’t give a shit who it is. This meeting isn’t about you trying to find some weak part of me that will drop this, it’s about signing the goddamn paperwork. Are we fucking clear?”
No one says a word, all of them are busy reading off the paperwork in front of them. Stu, breaks his contact with me and shakes his disapproving head, as he begins to read as well. Slowly, I sink back into my chair and open my folder.
“Mr. Tate, everything reads exactly as we discussed. I’m signing off,” Roger, another lawyer says.
One by one they all sign off, leaving Stu the last. This son of a bitch is going to be a problem. Little does he realize I can’t give a shit what he wants. He doesn’t seem to understand that I’m a man who will never be backed into a corner.
“Shawn,” Stu starts.
“Mr. Tate,” I bite out.
Lifting an eyebrow, he slightly grins. “My apologies, Mr. Tate. There is no way we are walking away with this amount. The business is still bringing in a profit.”
I chuckle and pull out page upon page of the decline in the business. “Stu, the business hasn’t made a profit in five years. If you refer to page thirteen, you’ll notice that each year there has been a steady decline in profit. Now, you can take the amount I’m offering and get paid for all your work, or I will rework the numbers and you’ll all walk away with nothing after he pays off the debt he owes. That’s your choice, I make money either way.” He doesn’t want to fight me, I’ll bleed them dry and smile while it happens.
Sipping my coffee, I can see the nervous faces of the other men in the room. They all know damn well if he fights me on this, they aren’t going to make a penny. After pulling apart the company and selling what I can, I’ll sell the entire thing and make one hell of a profit. It doesn’t matter to me who’s company it is or why I’m buying it out from under them, if they knew anything about business they wouldn’t have gotten into these situations.
I hold back a grin when I see Stu quickly sign his name. He pushes it to the center of the table and everyone else places theirs on top. Reaching forward, I collect them and hand them off to Ramona, and she’ll check to make sure each document is signed before I allow anyone to leave.
It’s complete silence as I wait for Ramona to finish. When she places the folders in front of me, she nods and I know everything is complete. The company is now mine.
I stand up and straighten my tie. “It’s been a pleasure, gentlemen. Please, feel free to enjoy some breakfast before you leave,” I say, moving from behind the table.
They all thank me, except for Stu, who stands up and grabs my arm as I walk past. My eyes snap to his before glancing down at his hand. He drops it quickly and I cross my arms, raising an eyebrow, waiting to see what the hell he wants.
Leaning closer to me, he holds on to the back of his chair as he pushes up to meet my eyes. “I don’t know how you sleep at night, you ungrateful little shit. This is the most underhanded, dishonorable thing you’ve ever done. You should have stayed in New York, you sneaky son of a bitch.”
