After several minutes, he pulls back and slowly lowers me to the ground. Quickly, pulling off the condom, he shoves it in his pocket, as he tuck himself away. He adjusts my dress for me and I give him a small smile.
He returns it and my stomach flips. He looks gorgeous and I wish he’d do it more often.
“Go home soon,” he says and turns walking away.
Beyond stunned, I stand there watching his retreating form.
“What the fuck just happened?”
Chapter 18
Drake
I tossmy keys and wallet on the wooden side table next to the front door and go into the kitchen. Liam’s guys have cleaned up most of the crap in my way, so I was able to put my small kitchen table back for now.
The new gray tile floors look great and the dark gray cabinets are finally in place. The counters should be in this week, which will be nice so I can get rid of the plywood that I continuously get splinters from.
Grabbing a beer out of the fridge, I sit down at the table and take a long pull. The night was shit. I went to the pub to grab a beer with Liam, but he cancelled as I walked in. I was going to leave, but my eye caught Emma in the corner. Watching her was such a turn on. The way she moved, the way she laughed, the confidence she held. But the second I noticed that kid putting his hands on her, jealousy raged inside me. I was already feeling too much and that just tipped the scale.
I walked in needed an escape, needing to block out the demons I keep buried so well. Watching Emma was only making it worse, but I couldn’t stop. It was self torture. So, when she walked outside, I was right behind her. I needed to claim her. To remind her that for now her pussy is mine and mine alone. I needed to fuck out everything I was feeling and son of a bitch, if she didn’t just let me.
When I had my release deep inside her, it released everything I was holding in. I felt like myself again. Thanking her the only way I knew how, I kissed her, softly.
That girl might become an addiction I start to need.
Grabbing my phone, I pull up her name. Debating if I should call or text. Texting is probably the safer bet.
Drake - I wanted to make sure you made it home safely.
Putting my phone down, I blow out a breath. Christ, what the fuck am I doing? This isn’t me.
Emma - Walking through the door now.
Her reply makes me grin, because I know she left when I told her to. Finishing my beer, I grab my cigarettes and head outside. As I do my phone alerts me to another text.
Emma - What happened tonight?
Lighting my smoke, I laugh as I pick up my phone.
Drake - I believe I fucked you against the wall of the pub. You weren’t that drunk, Miss Bower.
Emma - I could never be drunk enough to forget that, it’s not what I meant. I meant, what happened to you tonight?
Damn, this girl is observant. I didn’t realize it was obvious. Unwilling to let my past out, I focus it on her.
Drake - What happened was I saw a boy touching what belongs to a man.
Emma - I belong to you, Professor Grayson?
Drake - For now, yes you do, Miss Bower.
She doesn’t reply right away, so I look up at the stars so clear in the dark sky. It brings me right back to being a kid and running around the ranch counting the stars. My mom would laugh as she held my baby brother, and my dad would always lay on the grass telling me to relax and look at the stars with him. It was simple times, times I would give anything to have back.
The alert of my phone startles me and I grab it.
Emma - If I belong to you, you belong to me.
Well damn, she’s got me there.
