“I have to say, you handled that very well,” Rocco said, kissing me.

He led me backstage to congratulate my brother and Holly.

After hugs and kisses were exchanged, Holly turned to me, flashing her ring. “I’m engaged!” She jumped up and down with an ear-splitting shriek.

“You certainly are.” I laughed and grabbed her hand, inspecting the ring. “It’s beautiful.” I glanced up at her. “I know this all just happened, but do you know when you want to get married or where?”

“Not yet, but hopefully my maid of honor will help me plan everything,” Holly said, putting her arm around me.

Swallowing hard, I blinked back the tears. “I would love to.”

We hooked our arms together and approached the guys, standing next to them, not wanting to interrupt their conversation.

“And I’ve been having the hardest time finding the right script to transition to television,” Rocco said.

“Maybe you should produce the sitcom yourself and hire a writer who will pen exactly what you’re looking for,” Josh said.

Rocco nodded. “Not a bad idea at all. Have you considered doing any writing for television?”

Josh nodded. “Oh, yeah. I have a ton of ideas for sitcoms. A couple of them are ensembles, likeFriends.Something I can write and star in would be ideal.”

“Wow—we should talk soon,” Rocco said, putting his arm around Josh. “Maybe we can collaborate on something.”

“I would love that,” Josh said.

Holly lit up. “That would be amazing if you starred in something together. The top two entertainers in the world on the same TV show? Wow. That would be huge.”

“I agree,” I said.

Both Rocco and Josh grinned, like maybe they’d stumbled onto something that could take Hollywood by storm.

“The only way to top that is if we planned a double wedding!” Holly said, laughing.

Too bad she was the only one laughing.

I cranked my neck in Rocco’s direction, curious of his reaction.

He had a blank look on his face.

Not good.

I glared at Holly, hoping and praying she got the hint that she needed to take it back or at least change the subject.

A goofy grin slowly formed on Rocco’s face. “I did say she would make a beautiful bride.” He winked at me.

I couldn’t tell if he was kidding or not.

“I was joking!” Holly said, obviously getting my signal in a different time zone. “I know you two need some time before you tie the knot and start popping out babies.”

Dear God, help me.

She just mentioned babies.

The last thing I needed was for Rocco to think that Holly and I had been talking about marriage or babies or anything closely related to the subject.

I wanted to die right there on the spot.

Meteor, meteor, meteor.
