“No,” I clipped. “We want you twenty-four-fuckin’-seven. This is a commitment. The weeks we’ve been here have shown us how good this relationship is.”

Eve reached out and took her hand as tears welled in Rommy’s gaze. “Kayson’s right. We just got you. We’re not losing you to a different continent. But we want you to be completely sure. This is a big choice, Rommy.”

“We could alternate. A year here and year there,” I suggested.

Eve nodded. “Yes. I like that. It would work for your families.”

Rommy sniffed, wiped at her eyes, and then shook her head. “No. I love you both for thinking that, but we can’t waste money on travelling each year. We’re going to make this work in America. Yeah, I’ll miss my family like crazy, but there’s many ways I’ll still hear from them and see them.” She pushed her shoulders back and told us, “I’m moving to America. I want to be there to join your world and make it ours.”

My chest expanded, and hope filled it.

But worry kicked me in the gut.

She’d be leaving here. Her family.

Eve gripped her top near her throat. “Rommy, are you sure? Your family….”

“Is here in Australia. They always will be here, but what we’ve got going means we’re family, too, right? I’ll miss my family, but I won’t ever be lonely or feel unloved because I have both of you, and you two mean everything to me.”

Reaching over, I picked her up, spun her around, and planted her ass on my lap. Eve snuggled in close too, touching both of us.

“Rom, you’re everythin’ to us,” I told her. “We’d love to have you in America with us.”

Eve nodded. “We can sort out the visa, and if we can’t get you the right one, I’m sure we can get Blaze to work something out. We’ll figure it all out, but knowing we’re not going home without you eases me so much.”

I grunted. “Fuck yeah it does. I hated the thought of leavin’ without you.”

Rommy hugged us both before sitting back. “I’ll have to come back to meet my brother’s baby. And I’m sure they’ll visit me in the States, but we’ll make it all work. I just can’t do without you two.”

Tears filled Eve’s gaze. “And we can’t do without you.”

Leaning down, I kissed Rommy’s neck. “Like you said, we’re stuck together now.” I nudged my nose against her chin. “Been meanin’ to say, you’re mine as much as Eve is, and I’d love it if you called me Kayson too.”

Her smile was bright and warm. She cupped the side of my neck. “I’d love that, and I will, at times. But I like Quake too.”

Grinning, I squeezed her ass. “Call me whatever you want, whenever you want.”

“Deal,” she said before she kissed me.

A phone chimed, and I felt Eve move to check. “Rommy, it’s for you.”

She leaned against my chest as she took her phone from Eve. “It’s my Mum. They’re close by and want to make sure we’re all dressed so they can stop by to grab some things.”

Laughing, I suggested, “Maybe we should close your bedroom door.”

“I’ll get it,” Eve said.

“I’m going to tell them,” Rommy said softly.

“About comin’ to America?”

“Yeah. I don’t want to put it off. We need to get sorted as soon as possible to start our lives together in the US.”

“How do you think they’ll take it?”

She hummed while thinking. “There’ll be a lot of glaring from Dad and worry from Mum. Dad might want to punch you for stealing me.”

Grinning, I wrapped my arms around her. “I’ll take anythin’ on if it means we can steal you. Now let’s quickly tidy a little before they arrive.” I helped her up, and we went to work straightening things.
