I felt so lost. So much had changed in just forty-eight hours that I couldn’t wrap my mind around everything that transpired. I wanted to wrap my thighs around this man’s face and forget, even just for a few minutes.
“It’s okay to grieve the past you,” Jax replied, as he played with the ends of my long, dark hair.
“My visions… someone is going to die. I can’t lose anyone else.” That thought alone sent me into a dark spiral.
“Your visions could have been for any one of us, Faye.” Jax looked at me, trying to convince me of his own words. But the doom crept inside me further.
“You knew about me this whole time?” I asked him, his eyes growing weary.
“I wanted to tell you, Faye, so bad it killed me. But, it wasn’t my truth to tell. Stefani made it very clear to my father and I that you needed to be left out of all of it.”
I could feel his sinister shadows creep behind my back and arms. Jax abruptly turned away from me, his emotions taking him into overdrive. I grabbed his broad shoulder.
“I loved you then, I love you now, I will love you… always,” I said to him.
Jax’s misty black shadows began embracing me, wrapping around my waist. I wanted him, needed him, so bad. I watched Jax closely as I welcomed him, all of him. The shadows danced and teased my body.
Iturned to face Faye, and our breath hitched, getting stuck in both of our throats. I could see her nipples begin to pebble under her white tank, and I could smell her sweetness, so venomous and intoxicating. She was drenched for me. I grabbed her throat between my hands and kissed her feverishly on hervelvet pouty lips, the passion taking complete control of the both of us.
Faye began unzipping my jeans, her dainty hands wrapping around my hardened length.
I ripped her top off. “Good girl, no bra for me.” I pinched her pierced nipple, wasting no time, and pulled her heavy, silky warm breast into my mouth as she began to moan. My baby girl looked so beautiful when she was desperate for me to fuck her. I spanked her ass, leaving a mark on her taut flesh. Faye moaned in violent pleasure as she tried to catch her breath. I waited six years for this moment, and I’d wait another six centuries if i had to, just to watch my shadows fuck my little witch, but not without the bond—a moment I had been waiting years for.
It was never the perfect time, was it? Between the kidnapping, Stefani’s death, and finding out about Avi, time was not on our side. But I couldn’t waste another second without making our bond official, it was a dream I’d had since I was nineteen years old, with my littleljos; letting it be known to the realms and the world that Faye Robles was eternally mine and I hers, forever and always.
“Baby, I have something to ask you.” I grabbed her dainty hand in mine, her eyes going wide.
“Oh my gods, Jax, what are you doing?” Faye gasped and looked at me like a nervous wreck. “I’m half naked, are you serious right now?” Faye covered herself with the blanket.
“I’m not proposing, just asking you to bond with my Grim, making us eternal lovers in all realms. Basically husband and wife, but in our world it’s called an eternal bond. No big deal,” I said to her, cheesing as if an eternal bond wasn’t even held in comparison to a marriage. Marriages were a piece of paper to our kind, laughable in a sense.
“An eternal bond, bonded two souls in all realms, marking each other for all eternity. Once a Grim bonded with a soulworthy of it, we never bonded with another again. I want you, I want this forever, Faye,” I confessed, gazing at her intently.
“Okay good, because I thought you were just asking me to basically give my soul away to a Reaper for the rest of eternity. Not a big deal at all.” She flushed, smiling at me as we both chuckled. “Ask me,” she said, breathy.
I grabbed her and placed her on top of me. “Faye Robles, do you accept the eternal bond of the Grim?” I asked, my eyes black as night, my shadows anticipating her answer.
Faye looked at me, flushed and aroused. This was the moment a Reaper waits their whole morbid lives for— bonding. This bond is only given once and never again, through eternal submission.
“Yes,” she whispered, without hesitation, her doe gaze burned my insides down to the fucking brittle bone.
My shadows danced, thrilled in ghoulish provocation.
“Open your mouth, little witch,” I commanded, and my needy girl did as she was told. I laughed cynically, my Grim laughing with me in unison.Silly little witch, you have no idea what you’ve done.
Spit, vows, and blood were all it took to initiate this soul tie.I grabbed the small pocketknife in my back pocket and pricked our fingers carefully. “Repeat after me, okay?” I waited for her response patiently.
Faye nodded her head at me in reassurance. I placed my forehead to hers, and proceeded with the bond, chanting every word slowly:
“I give you the parts of me no spell could ever bind. I give you the Death in me no god could ever claim. I choose you now, I choose you always.”
Faye repeated every word back to me, the words like silk on her tongue.
I placed my crimson-covered finger above her open mouth, squeezing the fresh wound. I let the blood drip into her mouth as I spit, the saliva dropping from my lips to hers. Faye waved her tongue, mouth wide open for me. I kissed her so deep and passionately we moaned into each other’s mouths— a sublime mouth fuck.
Faye brought her slender finger covered in blood to my mouth, and I sucked on her dainty digit delicately as I groaned, a tinge of iron filling my tongue. I bent my head back, opening my mouth, ready for my initiation, as Faye spat into my mouth, our Grim bond officially now intact. Both of us were jolted back as our bodies pumped with a foreign source neither of us had ever felt before. Our fondest memories flashed between us. From the very first dandelion she’d ever smelt, our very first kiss in the arcade parking lot, to her giving birth to Birdie. I was a part of her fondest memories. The mental visions vanished, both of us panting from the adrenaline.
“I saw… I saw you.” Her voice cracked. “I saw your memories. Holy fuck, how?” Faye was still in awe of the bond that had snapped into place like a slingshot ball.
