“More?”

“Yes, as in let’s tell David and Madeline we’re together.”

“Am I still on your nice list?” The corner of her mouth crinkled.

“Always.” I held out my hand. “Let’s go skiing. We’ll go down whatever run you want.”

Her brows rose. “Even the double black diamond?”

“If you want… but if you make it to the bottom alive, I’m dragging you back to the chalet and spanking youfor realfor doing something dangerous because you do not have the skills for a black diamond, let alone a double black diamond.” I held up a finger. “Yet!”

She narrowed her eyes. “For real?”

“Yeah, as in, when my girlfriend does something dangerous, I don’t put up with it. I teach her with a real old-fashioned spanking that her safety is my number one priority.”

She grinned, her eyes lighting up as if I’d given her a diamond ring. “Girlfriend, huh?”

I nodded. “Yes.”

“Wait what did you mean byyet?”

“If you want to do double black diamond runs, I will spend as long as it takes teaching you to be confident on those.” I point at her booted feet.

“Really? You’d spend this trip teaching me?”

“This trip and ten others, yes.”

“Okay.”

“Okay.” I nodded. “So, which one are we doing? Blue or green?”

“Green, then blue, and then whatever my Santa Daddy thinks. And after we’re exhausted and cold, I’m going to find my brother and sister and tell them about us.”

“Are you sure?”

“Are you sure about me being your girlfriend?”

“A hundred and fifty percent,” I replied confidently, and I meant it.

“Then yes. I’m sure.”

Chapter Twelve

Kristoffer

I knocked on Emily’s door with three quick knocks. I was supposed to meet her at the bottom of the stairs an hour before the rehearsal so we could talk to Madeline and David, but I’d changed my mind about us telling them.

We’d spent the last few days skating, skiing, snowshoeing and tubing, separately, while sneaking in sexy kisses and gropes whenever we could. We spent our nights together after everyone else had retired to their rooms, too. Emily had been doing things with Lucas like her siblings expected, but she’d been pretty aloof which annoyed him so much he’d been hanging out at the main chalet flirting with anyone that looked twice at him. Both Madeline and David had noticed, and they’d been trying to get her alone to talk, but my Little Red was very good at avoiding their attempts.

“Hey, I thought you were meeting me at the bottom of the stairs like Jack waited for Rose,” Emily said as she peaked out of her door, checked for people, and then stepped out.

I looked at her blankly before it dawned on me that she was talking about the movieTitanic. “You know Rose let Jack die, right?”

“Yeah, but he died very romantically.”

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. “There’s nothing romantic about dying.”

“Of course there is, otherwise, Romeo and Juliette wouldn’t be so popular.”
