Skylar’s satisfied sigh could keep me going for years.
"Good girl."
Chapter six
Skylar
Ifollow Mark down the hall, gazing over the balcony railing to see that the party is dying down on the first floor. A lot of people have moved on to a bar, no doubt, or gone home to spend the long holiday weekend with their families.
The office is decorated in a winter color palette, likely to avoid HR issues associated with a Christmas theme. Everything is covered in silver, white, and blue. Even the potted Ficus plants are draped in silvery tinsel. It's festive and fun, yet the only thing I can concentrate on is the persistent throbbing between my thighs and the delicious fullness in my ass as Mark takes me to the next phase of the evening.
I bite my lip. I'm giddy with anticipation, already primed for another orgasm and desperate to know when they’re going to remove the plug and replace it with something far more intense.
I knew what I signed up for tonight, but even in my wildest dreams, I couldn't have imagined how into it these guys would be. And not for the first time since I got their invitation, I wonder why they’re offering to make this happen for me?
Hunter joked in one of our text exchanges that this is an unofficial year-end bonus, but I’ve already turned in my equipment to HR, and now I'm locked out of email. I'm no longer an employee. Why would they go out of their way to make my sex fantasies come true? It can't be that hard to find someone who wants to be shared by three of the hottest bachelors in town.
I tamp down the small, hopeful voice that whispers about love and forever, knowing full well that my deepest desire is to be shared by these three men for more than a night.
My silly, romantic thoughts are interrupted when Mark bangs on Paul's office door. He tries the knob, but it's locked, and there is no response from inside.
Hearing us in the hallway, Hunter comes out of his office and pulls out his phone with a roll of his eyes. He scrolls and taps before holding out the phone to me.
"Ms. Miller, please ask Mr. Ludlow to join us in my office."
I swallow hard, taking the phone as my heart beats harder in anticipation of hearing his voice. Just as I think it's about to go to voicemail, he picks up.
"What?" Paul's stern demand hits me straight between my legs, and a rush of desire immediately coats the inside of my thighs. Where did my panties go?
I clear my throat before responding. "Mr. Ludlow?" I start, turning away from the other two guys watching me intently. "Could you please join us in Mr. Warner's office at your earliest convenience?"
The silence on the other end of the line is deafening, and I wonder again why he hasn't answered his door. Paul is largely misunderstood around the office. I primarily worked remotely, only having to come in to headquarters occasionally, but I noticed a lot of EcoStarTech employees practically ran in the opposite direction when they saw him coming. He can be controlling and direct, maybe even unreasonably grumpy at times. But the truth is, he demands the best of his workers because he’s so hard on himself. I admire that about him.
"I'd really love to see you in Mr. Warner's office," I say, my voice coming out breathy even to my own ears. "I hope you can join us, sir."
I hang up the phone and hand it back to Hunter. His fingers graze mine, and a spark of electricity jolts through my hand.
Don't let your heart get involved, girl.Holly's voice of reason pops up at the exact moment I need it.
And, oh boy, do I need it now.
I eye the two men in front of me, who are perusing my body slowly. Neither of them looks like they've had their fill of me yet, and my sappy heart is desperate to misinterpret some of the heat headed my way as love.
"After you, Ms. Miller." Hunter holds his arm out toward his open office door, and little butterflies erupt in my stomach.
Almost instantly, a flicker of sadness crosses into the delirious lust that courses through my body. When I walk back through this office door again, am I headed straight for a cab?I tamp down the depressing thought, even though I know it's in my future after the evening is over.
"Ms. Miller's exit interview was unsatisfactory," Mark informs his partner.
Hunter tsks in response as he closes the door behind him. "Unacceptable." He turns his gaze to me. "What do you have to say for yourself, Ms. Miller?"
"I—"
The door to Hunter's office opens, and Paul enters the room. He turns his bright blue eyes my way, and I suck in a quick breath. His dark hair is such a contrast to the lightness of his eyes that I'm always mesmerized by the combination.
I start to smile and greet him, then I remember we're in a scene, so I squeeze my thighs together and gaze intently at Mark.
"I apologize. I’d like to make it up to you." My gaze bounces from Hunter to Paul, who watches me with his back against the door like he hasn't decided if he's staying. "To all of you."
