Sometime later, it started to get dark. There are no moons. Everything is a blur of grays and dark orange. I must say, it felt comfortable though not as comfortable as riding a car.

I tried to fight my sleepiness but couldn’t. My last thought before the world turned black is I am hungry.

I jolted awake when I felt we stopped. If I knew the sun was glaring so high, I could have opened my eyes slowly. I think I burned my eyes from too many suns!

I blinked myself awake and tried to remove the sunspots I can see.

“Brin.”

That was all the warning I got before the big guy grabbed my torso. I saw a kaleidoscope of images before I felt straight enough to look around.

Even with him holding my middle, I managed to look back and glared at him.

He just smirked.

The jerk!

If I felt stable enough, I could have stamped him on his foot. But my legs felt like goo. Realizing this, he leaned me sideways and grabbed behind my knees. He carried me princess-like which I thought should be alien to them because he seemed so barbaric!

He carried me to a stone slab. Great, where are we? I am seated in a shaded part of the stone so at least it wasn’t too hot. The roof is made of what looked like long grass. Not metal.

Looking around, I saw we are still in the plains. But it looked breathtaking because I can see some sort of crops swaying to the wind.

They look yellow enough to be called food.

Right on cue, my stomach grumbled. Zirc stepped away from me towards another wooden house. A barn or a real house I couldn’t tell. The houses looked like something I will build in Minecraft.

Looking up, I saw smoke coming out of it so maybe it’s a house. Thinking he might be robbing, I looked around and checked for other people. Aside from the nice foliage, I couldn’t see anyone lurking around.

I used my palm to shield my eyes and looked up. Yes, they are way up in the sky so it must be noon time. I am probably so tired that I slept on top of a horse ride.

I heard a noise opening and saw Zirc come out with two steaming bowls. My stomach grumbled loudly in response.

Normally, I will be embarrassed because it was too loud. But I find myself staring at him. Staring at Zirc.

With the two suns high up in the sky, I can clearly see him. His tight clothing, tunic is not enough to hide the abs and muscles in his form. He has corded muscles and thick thighs that I don’t normally find appealing to most men. I want normal good-looking guys but not too beefy like he’s running for Mr Universe.

But what I found fascinating is the stripes on his body. I know they are also his skin. Even when lost in the moment of heat, I could see him trembling anytime I ran my finger down one of his stripes. On his arms, across his chest, his thighs. His tail is swinging back and forth as he walks towards me.

His tail.

I found myself slipping my tongue along my lips. The things he can do with his tail.

When he neared, I looked up into his eyes.

The pupils of his eye are slits. The prussian blue of his eyes is almost black. He shielded me from the suns, casting a nice shade to my body being in a furnace. I knew why my body is acting like this. Whatever those aliens injected inside of me is still running its course.

Zirc leaned forward and banged the two bowls to either side of me.

He growled and could even see both his fangs in a display of anger but it only made me think his fangs are actually quite sexy. The way he used it many times before.

I couldn’t help but squirmed in my seat. I tried to cross my legs but couldn’t move because he had me sort of caged. I can smell his male warmth. Even though we’d been out in the sun for so long, he smells almost like the flowers in the trees we encountered along the way.

He smells good enough to eat.

He growled loudly now.

“Eat.”
