A scrape of teeth. “Would love to.” Rob stroked Brian’s face. “Whenever you want. Whenever you can.”
There was the shop again. Always the shop. “I’m trying.”
A little frown. Rob ran a thumb over Brian’s lips and he couldn’t help but open his mouth and suck it in.
Whatever Rob had intended to say devolved into a groan.
That was a sound Brian loved. So was the hard kiss that followed. “If you keep this up,” Rob said, “I’m going to fuck you on the couch. Then I won’t be able to do anything to you tonight. I’m an old man, remember?” He palmed Brian’s dick.
Brian thrust against Rob. “So am I.”
With Rob, it didn’t matter. Orgasm or not. Brian needed and wanted to be with Rob. If only the shop didn’t eat him alive every day.
Rob kissed him and relented. “Maybe we should watch a movie instead of me driving you wild.”
“I have no problems with you driving me wild.” Brian stroked Rob’s thigh. “But you’re right about later tonight.”
Another huff and Rob leaned against the back of the couch. “Alas. We should have met in our twenties.”
Life would have been very different then. A little flutter of fear and shame—left over from those years—flicked through him. “I wouldn’t have gone near you.” He’d lusted after so many guys in college. Never touched one. The straight ones weren’t interested. “Gay guys didn’t trust bi guys back then.”
Rob rolled his eyes, but he also looked contrite. “A lot of them still don’t.” From the angles of his face and the pursing of his lips, Rob was remembering some of his own past. “I never felt that way.” He met Brian’s gaze. “And I’d like to think, had we met, we’d been friends at the very least.”
Maybe. Maybe not. He’d shied away from any guy he felt a sexual pull toward. Safer that way. But Rob was… Rob. He leaned in and kissed him. “I’m glad we met now, though.”
This time, they explored each other’s mouths and necks leisurely. Tasting, kissing, murmuring things that made no sense. Rob was warm and solid and real, but all the hours he’d worked started to catch up with Brian, leaving him heavy in Rob’s arms.
“Nap time?”
He’d slept enough. “No.”
“Movie time, then?” Rob stroked his head.
That would work. “Just don’t let me sleep or I won’t tonight.”
“I have to let you sleep tonight?” Wicked, wicked words that send a bolt of lust to Brian’s balls.
“Didn’t you just claim to be an old man?”
Rob didn’t say a word, just stole another kiss.
Warmth spread through Brian and he laughed. “All right. What movie?”
“I was thinking something particularly queer, likeLawrence of Arabia.”
From the expression on Rob’s face, he wasn’t kidding. “I—is it?”
Rob frowned. “Have youneverwatched it?”
Heat flooded straight to his cheeks. “Um—well, no.”
“Oh, good God.” Rob stood and headed for his shelf of movies. “That settles it, then.” Took him all of a minute to pop the disk into the player and return, remote in hand.
“At least you’re not tossing me out.” It was a classic, sure, but there were lots of movies he hadn’t seen.
Rob plopped down next to him. “I’ll only toss you out if you haven’t seenCasablanca.” The bright-ass smile gave away his joking.
“ThatI have seen.” When Rob opened his arms, Brian was more than happy to settle against his chest.
