A hitch in Brian’s breathing and another whimper.

He slowed his strokes, letting Brian flex and shudder under him. “This okay?”

An exhale and a whisper. “Yeah. It’s—yeah.” A little hint of wonder there.

“Good.” He pushed in deep. “Right now, you have one job.” He leaned down as close to Brian’s head as he could manage. “Take my cock and love every single second of it.”

Another groan, but he saw Brian’s smile and that was what he needed. Rob straightened then drove furiously into Brian, over and over until they were both swearing and moaning. Brian begged for more and more and more,

Fuck, Brian was hot and tight andperfect. Those moans of “please” and “yes” and “Rob” were music playing along Rob’s every nerve. Each stroke rocked them both and Rob’s blood burned with need. He closed his eyes and focused on the way Brian clenched around him, the timbre of breath and the pitch of his cries. Skin and muscle flexing beneath him. Wrists shifting as Brian clenched and unclenched his hands in Rob’s grip.

He was so close to heaven, but he pushed back against the crashing tide. Before he could reach his free hand under to beat Brian off… Brian shuddered and tensed all around him.

“Oh fuck… Rob…” All the warning he had before Brian was yelling and coming and tighter than he’d ever been before. No hope of holding off his own orgasm. Rob rammed into Brian, riding the wave of pleasure until he was blinded by light behind his eyes. He pumped his hips, buried himself in Brian, and spilled every last bit of himself. They both collapsed onto the mattress.

Somewhere along the line, he’d let go of Brian’s wrists. Good. He couldn’t think through the spinning of his head to do much more than press kisses to Brian’s back.

After ages, or a few minutes, Brian sighed happily. “Shit, that was good.”

Rob managed a chuckle—and pulled out of Brian. The condom could wait a bit. “Took me by surprise.”

“I’ve never—” He stopped and huffed a laugh. “Well, I haven’t been fucked that much—but I’ve never come without anything touching my dick.”

That could be pretty spectacular when it happened. “We can try replicating the process, if you’d like.”

Brian laughed and rotated to face Rob, all limbs, flushed skin, and smile. “You’resuchan engineer.”

“Guilty.” He propped himself up and leaned over to kiss Brian. “Anything I can do to make you happy.”

Brian’s smile fell away. “Being with you.” He sank against the pillow. “Just let me be with you.”

Rob stole another kiss. “I can do that, for as long as you want.” He’d hold fast to Brian as much as he could—even if the shop tore Brian apart. At some point, it would get better.

It had to.

“Let me take care of this.” He stripped off the condom and rolled out of bed. By the time he came back, Brian’s eyes were closed and his limbs loose. Rob chuckled and pulled the covers up.

Brian stirred and cracked a lid. “Sorry. I’m…”

Easy enough to plant a kiss that shut Brian up. “It’s not even eight yet. Sleep in. You deserve it.”

“Mmm.”

And that was all Brian managed before sleep caught him. Rob found a pair of gray sweatpants, donned them, and left Brian to sleep off sex and too many workdays.

He grabbed his personal laptop from his office before heading downstairs. Therehadto be a way he could help Brian with the shop, or at least prod him in the right direction.

Brian was killing himself. Rob tasted it in Brian’s desperate need for oblivion and felt it in the thinness of his body. Nothing about the situation was tenable. Rob could hold on to Brian forever, but in the end they’d both go down if the issues at Grounds N’at weren’t solved.

Rob didn’t know the first thing about running a coffee shop, but the Internetmust. It was only a matter of finding the information.

He dug out some of the beans he’d bought from Brian, ground them up, set his coffee brewing, and opened his laptop.

Time to start searching for answers.

Awareness flitted backto Brian bit by bit. He didn’t want to give up the wonderful softness of the bed he was in or the pleasant sleepy buzz in his body, even though the day tugged at him and the slight scent of brewed coffee tickled his nostrils.
