All it took was a few muttered words from Seryn, and they were up for public consumption again. Seryn didn't seem to care, and Mitchell wouldn't have either except for Jude staring at Mitchell with his eyes big and his lips turned up with a mix of disgust and happiness for Mitchell.

"Your blood smells so good." Seryn licked the skin on Mitchell's neck.

Mitchell met Daruss's gaze. "We're tired. Mind showing us a bedroom?"

Jude snorted. "You don't look tired, Mitchell."

Mitchell smirked. But one little nip from Seryn and it made all his brain cells disappear, along with all the blood in his body, going straight to his cock.

"Problem?" Jude was the one who smirked this time.

"Oh my god, I finally see the resemblance," Raylee said.

Jude cupped Raylee's cheek. "Tell me I'm cuter and I'll forgive you for saying I look like my brother."

"Smart mouth brat." Mitchell chuckled. Okay, it was a half chuckle and half moan. Seryn's mouth was magic, along with the rest of him. "Stop distracting me, Jude. I'm on a mission."

Jude snorted. "I know what kind of mission you're on."

Mitchell felt Seryn's lips turn up against his neck. "Finally, Daddy wants me."

Even though Jude had the same type of kink going on in his own relationship, so Mitchell's embarrassment made little sense, he felt his face heat. Still, he held Seryn tighter. His need to soothe Seryn far outweighed the embarrassment. "I've always wanted you, boy. It's grown every day since the day we met."

That's when Jude's hopeless romantic side kicked in. He put a hand to Raylee's chest since he couldn't reach his own and practically melted. "Aww, that's so sweet."

Mitchell didn't respond, mostly because he didn't know what to say. He hadn't been trying for sweet. Just truthful. And maybe he still felt a little guilty for not giving Seryn what he'd wanted a couple of weeks ago. Not that he didn't think he was right. The insta-bonding thing Seryn had wanted to do still seemed like a bad idea, especially because he'd been recovering from surgery.

He still had twinges of pain in his ribs, but he was mostly fine. Holding Seryn, who was solid muscle even though he was in a small package, made his cracked bones protest, but it wasn't enough to put Seryn down. He never thought he'd like to carry anyone around. Of course, he'd never really wanted a relationship with anyone before Seryn came into his life. Seryn brought out things in Mitchell he'd never thought he'd want, but he wanted it all with Seryn.

"Jude, show Todd and Evan to a guest room. Raylee, go with him." Daruss headed through the living room, not bothering to see if Mitchell followed, which he did. He led them down a halland stopped at the third door on the right. Daruss opened it. "We have good insulation. Should be pretty soundproof."

"Great."

"I'm telling you that because my boys and I will be right there." Daruss pointed to a door at the end of the hall. Then he pointed to another door next to it, but across the hall from the room they had stopped at. "And sometimes we're in there."

Daruss didn't even blink an eye when he told Mitchell which rooms he fucked Jude in.

"That's information I don't need to know."

Daruss eyed Seryn. "If you hurt Seryn, I'll kill you."

"Won't happen. And the same goes for my brother, man. And the innocent kid, too." Mitchell turned.

"Stop threatening him. I've already told you once." Seryn didn't move from where he made love to Mitchell's neck. And he only stopped to speak to Daruss, going right back to it a second later.

Daruss just shook his head. "I'm defending you."

Seryn didn't answer.

Daruss met Mitchell's gaze again. "He seems…better. More coherent. I assume you have something to do with that."

When Seryn stiffened, Mitchell rubbed Seryn's back with one hand, holding him up by his ass with the other.

"Maybe. Jude smiles more than I've ever seen him in his whole life. I assume you have something to do with that." Maybe they could stop being alpha males now that they kinda, sorta, complimented each other.

Daruss smiled for the first time since meeting him. "Maybe."

Mitchell opened the door and started in. But when Daruss walked away, Mitchell called his name. When he stopped, Mitchell said, "Thanks. For everything. But especially for keeping my brother safe."
