I grabbed my Sunshine by the waist and practically shoved her under my desk. She looked up at me, wide-eyed, stunned.

“What the hell is wrong with you—” she started, but I shushed her, sinking into my chair.

“Lucifer is here.”

Her eyes flared. “You said he was ecstatic about me going on the trip!”

I shot her a look as I glanced down at her between my legs. “Even you, Sunshine, should’ve recognized that as sarcasm. As far as he’s concerned, I stopped seeing you the day I rescued you from your old job.”

She glared up at me, cheeks flushed red with anger, and right then the door opened. I plastered on a bright smile, leaning back, trapping her snug between the desk and my legs.

“Kiki, I didn’t expect to see you here.” I laughed, my voice sounding unnerving, forced. I ignored Maia smacking my ankle for my already rocky start.

“Well, we need to go over the travel itinerary again. Frederick’s trying to reschedule a few events.”

“I thought your little PA would be keeping you busy.” The words slipped out before I could stop them, and I cursed myself silently, praying he wouldn’t say her name. I could already feel Maia’s stare drilling into me as Killian replied.

“Well, I decided to let Ms. Newman head home early, give her time to settle in before she gets situated with little Delilah at the penthouse.”

I shut my eyes, irritation curling tight in my chest as Maia’s hand clamped down on my thigh. When I looked down, her eyes weren’t just angry, they were blazing.

Why? Take your pick. Could’ve been me shoving her under the desk. Or lying about Killian being fine with her coming on the trip. Or, maybe, not exactly mentioning that Killian’s shiny new PA was her old coworker.

Maybe if my face wasn’t so fucking readable, I could’ve pretended I knew nothing about Brielle or Delilah. In my defense, I only pieced it together today—when Delilah practically shook me down to keep the secret quiet.

Fucking sue me, okay?

I nodded faintly, clearing my throat as Maia’s hand crept higher up my thigh. Her anger at my little deception seemed to be fading—or maybe it wasn’t, because the closer she got to my zipper, the more I realized she was about to punish me.

“Well… aren’t you generous,” I murmured, trying not to flinch under the feral stare of the goddess on her knees. Her fingers tugged at my zipper, her touch infuriatingly slow.

Killian approached nonchalantly and sat across from me. It fucking annoyed me. My mind couldn’t drift to my Sunshine, who was clearly finding pleasure in torturing me.

“If that’s what you want to call it, sure. Now, if you don’t mind, I’d like to get some work done, since you’ve ignored every attempt I’ve made to contact you today.”

I nodded, holding in my distress as Maia freed me and pressed her soft lips to my skin.

The more I tried to focus on Killian, the more frustrated I grew. Maia’s teasing was unbearable, and the shit he was sayingwasn’t even important—just the same crap I’d heard in every other meeting leading up to this.

This couldn’t have been done over a fucking email? I’m getting my dick sucked, for Pete’s sake, by my sugar baby. A little privacy would be nice. Though, hypocrite that I am, most of my time not spent pining over her is spent bothering Killian and invading his privacy.

This was probably karma. A taste of my own medicine. Still couldn’t bring myself to care.

Maia opened her mouth, and I barely bit back a moan, covering the hiss with a cough, her throat closing tight around me as she took me deeper. I couldn’t bring myself to look down as her head bobbed slow and steady, the silence making her punishment all the more brutal.

As Killian barely paid me any mind, droning on about business, my fingers were pressed to my temples as I tried not to cum.

Maia wasn’t impressed by the effort. Her hands slid lower, stroking down my shaft, her touch lingering at my crown jewels like she’d just struck gold. When I glanced down with a glare, she only looked back up at me innocently. She’s trying to kill me.

Half-assed answers were given to Killian, enough to satisfy him, and another agonizing ten minutes passed before he finally stood and bid me goodbye. If the man couldn’t see I was sweating through my damn chair, trying to keep composed while Maia edged me under the table, then maybe Benjamin and George were right. Maybe Brielle really did have him distracted.

My secretary walked him out and as the elevator doors closed behind them, a groan escaped me. My hand found Maia’s throat, sliding her off my dick and pulling her close, while she only smiled, biting her lip like my grip tempted her.

“You’re such a little cock tease,” I muttered, almost in disbelief.

Her hands smoothed over my thighs, her head tilting in mock pity.

“It’s a shame you weren’t able to do anything about it,” she sympathized, and the mockery shoved me over the edge.
