Slowly but surely Law drags me closer towards another orgasm, but instead of allowing it to happen he pulls his fingers back as he lets his own release roll through his body. He’s barely finished before he’s pulling his dick free and shoving his fingers deep into the mess they’ve all left behind. I cry out at the sudden changes.

“Eyes on me right now darlin'.” My eyes snap to his as he pulls his fingers free before using his left hand to play with my clit. I see our combined release glisten on his fingers before Logan and Ace release my tits and sit back. Law moves his hand towards the brand and I tense for a moment before the pads brush over the ruined flesh and he’s smearing their cum across Royce’s mark. “You. Are. Ours.”

The possession in his voice is enough to tip me over and this time when I cum I black out.

Ace

Thea goes limp the second she finishes coming and Law is quick to grab a blanket and wrap her up. Logan burritos himself next to her on the low back couch that Law gently lays her down on.

“Thank you daddy.” Logan murmurs. Law presses a tender kiss to his forehead before letting the two rest and making his way back towards me. Thea’s phone vibrates, the screen lighting up, from the spot it sits on the floor. The tension we had just released fills the room again as I grab it, swiping open the screen.

Royce: That wasn’t very nice.

Royce: I suggest you tell those fucking piece of shit men that for each moment they have you I’ll make sure it’s another moment of punishment your earning.

Royce: You belong to me Theadora. You are my doll. My plaything. My forever. And you will never escape me, I’m inevitable.

“This is going to be a problem.” Law growls. “He’s going to try for her, those messages all have the same underlying possessive madness that any stalker would have.”

“Do you think he’s here?” I ask, powering down the phone as I slip into my back pocket. Law shrugs, eyes bouncing around the tattoo shop as he watches for any potential threat. The tension in his body is building more and more. “Rebel, look at me.”

“I’m fine Ace.” He growls. “I need to alert the station about what’s going on. They need to know Royce is here, most likely, or at the very least to keep an eye out for anyone suspicious.”

He moves to brush past me towards the door but I’m fast and grab his hand. “I told you to look at me Rebel.” He sags, still ignoring my request but not fighting against the hold I have on him.

“I can’t do this Ace, I need to make sure she stays safe. Please don’t stop me.”

I release his hand. “Don’t lose yourself to those demons of yours Law. We need you.”

He doesn’t say anything before he’s rushing from the tattoo shop. I follow him onto the sidewalk, hands in my pockets asnight fully descends upon Cedar Edge. I watch as he starts up his truck, the lights on top flicking on in the dark and illuminating the glass window panes with the red and blue flashing colors before he’s pulling away down the street leaving me alone.

As someone who enjoys the hunt I find it’s much harder for someone to try and make me prey. Which is why it takes me approximately three seconds to feel it, the eyes on me. Someone masquerading as a predator trying to hunt a real one.

Pulling the joint from my jeans pocket I light it up, the marijuana floating up into the air around me in a thick cloud, I’m the perfect illusion of unaware and relaxed. My eyes scan the dark, empty streets as I take in more of the drug. I keep my movements calm and unhurried as I casually turn back towards the tattoo shop door.

“How long do you think you can keep them safe, Reaper?” I pause, hand outstretched for the door knob, as I smile broadly at Royce’s slimy voice.

“You know who I am so you must know how stupid this is.” I say turning towards the darkness.

I watch as Royce steps out of the shadows, under a street lamp. He’s filled out since high school, the scrawny nerd packing on some muscles. Yet still all I see is someone pretending to be a predator while being hunted by the true king of the jungle. I toss the half smoked joint onto the street, crushing it with my boot.

“This is the last peaceful warning I’ll give. Leave. Now.”

Royce chuckles. “What, am I just to believe that should I flee this pathetic town now you’ll let me live?”

“No. You are delusional if you think I’ll let you live. But I will give you a headstart.” I say with a sharp voice as I slowly reach into my back pocket and pull the piece of cloth from it. He throws his head back laughing fully this time and goes to take a step towards me before halting, fear peppering his eyes for a moment as he watches me drag that half skull mask up. “You see, unlike you Royce, I’m a hunter. The shadows were my lover long before you thought to crawl from your mothers cunt. And when I tell you that if you don’t run and if I catch you here, in this town, I will make sure I rip your heart from your body while you still live and feed it to you. But that’s only after I’ve given you a new definition of pain.”

I step towards him, Royce taking one back. “So run along little boy and stop playing pretend. Because you knownothingof the kind of torment I will inflict upon your soul.”

Not bothering to see if he leaves, I turn on my heel, returning to Thea and Logan, leaving Royce to his ear. Because that fear? It’ll make him sloppy and I need him to be sloppy.

Logan’s eyes lock on mine the second he hears the door shut and before I can pull the mask off. He crosses his arm, body protectively in front of Thea now and out of his blanket burrito. His gaze travels out to the street and back to me. “Do we need to worry?” His voice is a hushed whisper so as not to wake Thea.

I shake my head, moving towards the back of the shop to retrieve the bag I had brought with me. When Logan had called I made a split second decision and now I’m fucking thankful I had. Logan’s eyes flare wide when he sees exactly what I pull from the bag. “She’ll be so fucking mad Ace.”

I shrug, loading the applicator with the small microchip. “I’d rather have her mad and alive than mad and dead because he takes her.” He follows me as I head towards Thea. I sweep her short hair to the side and press the device to the smooth skin of her neck. I don’t second guess myself pressing the trigger down and injecting it into her neck.

She flinches, hand flying up to rub at the spot as I tuck the gun behind my back. “Ace?” She asks with a sleep filled voice.
