Sapphire nodded. "That makes sense."

Outside the rain poured against the building and she realized that this was the first time she got to spend a morning like this with Vic. Eyeing him she noted his comfy sleep pants looked vaguely like a pair of Joel's. Something about Vic being sleepy and dressed in such casual comfy clothes only made the big man even more inviting. Glancing up, she met his dark gaze. His eyes raked over her bare legs and mismatched outfit before flicking to her head.

Sapphire froze, her eyes going wide.

She forgot her bonnet! As quick as lightning, she reached up and snatched off the black satin cap, letting her two long French braids go tumbling down her back.

Tilting his head in silent admonishment, Vic reached across the small distance between them and cupped the underside of her chin, holding her face steady. "You never have to hide anything from me. I like how cozy you look."

Everything that had been building up for the day between them was released at once. The distance between them vanished as their lips met in a searing kiss. With her arms wrapping around his trim waist, she pulled him to her, relishing the feel of him readily obliging her demand and covering his body with his.

"Even if you are wearing another man's clothes," he groaned against her neck before placing a nipping bite at her pulse. Sapphire paused and looked at him in question. Vic grinned. "Last night I caught a glimpse of you sleeping naked in the middle of their bed. I assume one of them dressed you. Let's just say it took a long while to go to sleep after that."

The admission warmed her. What must it have felt like for him knowing that only one floor below she was sleeping naked between his two best friends?

Sapphire ran her hands through his black hair and cupped the back of his neck. "I'm sorry."

Vic's eyes grew heavy and he looked down at her. "Make it up to me," he growled in her ear nipping at her earlobe.

Sapphire pulled him back to her lips and kissed him again. She moaned into his mouth as one hand snaked beneath her shirt and found her bare breast.

Sapphire arched to his touch. Pushing the shirt up, Vic bared her to him and she watched his eyes marvel at the sight of her. Never in her life had she ever felt as beautiful as these three men made her feel.

Diving back down, Vic hungrily took one peak into his mouth suckling, until it was pressed flat at the roof of his mouth.

Somewhere beyond them, a door closed and they both froze. Vic sat up straight and dragged her up with him. Smoothing down her shirt, he looked furiously at the hallway as Joel walked through with a yawn.

Unsurprisingly shirtless and wearing a pair of grey lounge pants, Joel looked between them before giving Vic a knowing smirk that earned him the finger from Vic.

Falling lazily onto the couch next to her, Joel wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her toward him. "Good morning, sweetheart."

"Good morn-" her words were cut short as Joel forcibly turned her in his direction. "Joel! What are you doing?!"

Not bothering to respond, Joel buried his face in her breasts, forcing her to lay back as he dropped his weight on top of her and used her as his human pillow.

Letting out a contended sigh, Joel muttered something against her as he pushed her breasts onto either side of his face and settled deeper against her. Trapped underneath him, Sapphire looked up at Vic's smiling face.

"This isn't funny," she whined as she tried to wiggle free but Joel didn't budge. He just grumbled something unintelligible against her shirt.

Hearing the door from the bedroom open once more, Sapphire looked hopefully to the hallway for Hayden. He would save her.

A minute later he walked into the living room but the sight of him made her gasp.

One side of his face was covered in a huge red swollen welt while tiny scratches crossed over one eye down across his nose.

"Yeah, about that," Joel murmured against her without even looking up.

"What happened?" she demanded while using all her strength to push Joel off of her so she could sit up and look at Hayden properly.

Coming to sit next to Vic on the couch, Hayden sat down with a tired sigh. "A tree fell on me," he said flatly.

She threw him a doubtful look that told him to try again.

Both Vic and Joel laughed.

"I told you she wouldn’t believe it," Joel chuckled.

Hayden held out his hands pleadingly. "I'm serious. Lightning struck that big fucking oak tree in the corner of the parking lot and a big ass branch fell on a guy's car."
