Sapphire covered her growing smile with a hand as she imagined Joel gyrating in a bow tie and black slacks. The truth was he would look damn good doing it.

"Moving past your dance career," Vic shared an eye rolling look with Hayden as they shot Joel annoyed looks. "I think it's time we consider hiring someone to man the bar a few days out of the week."

Neither Joel nor Hayden said anything, they just stared at Vic as if he was speaking another language. Inside, Sapphire practically jumped up and down at the idea, but she kept herself in check. Instead, she just quietly munched on the remainder of her club sandwich and watched.

Joel frowned and scratched the back of his head. "We can't let someone else run the poker games."

"And people kind of expect to see us, especially on weekends," Hayden added with a shake of his head. "You know how rowdy it gets. I don't think it would work. The bar needs our presence in particular when shit tries to get out of hand."

Vic held up a hand, stopping any further argument. "Yeah, but I never said we wouldn’t work it at all," he assured them. "We'll just have someone else in on the days we don't need to be there. Think about it. Right now, the bar is open Tuesday through Saturday. We could have someone running it on Tuesday through Thursday and hell, even have them open the bar for Monday nights since that's all we ever hear people bitching about that it's closed on that day."

Sapphire could see Vic's words really hitting home with the guys and she had to practically stuff the rest of her sandwich in her mouth to keep the giddiness at bay. It would be amazing if they did this. All the other projects they talked about doing could actually be something other than dreams if they were able to get back the nine plus hours they put in at the bar each night.

Picking up his plate, glass, and crumpled napkin, Hayden stood up. A crease still formed in the middle of his brow as he considered the idea. "It doesn't sound bad," he allowed.

Picking up his stuff too, Joel followed him out of the gazebo with a nod. "Fuck no, it doesn't. I mean I'm really trying to poke holes in this because if I can't, I'm gonna feel really fucking stupid that I hadn't thought of this earlier."

Amped up by his idea taking hold in his brothers, Vic quickly gathered his stuff and her now empty dishes in one swoop and stood up. With a quick and almost jarring kiss to her temple, he rushed to follow the guys.

"I think opening for Mondays would really drive…" his voice faded away from her as he walked into the house, followed by the slight slam of the back door.

Alone on the gazebo, Sapphire sat a little stunned. That was three kisses total for the day from Vic. Two more than yesterday.

Early that morning when they arrived at the farm, Vic had cornered her in the kitchen while the guys had been outside talking to Bailey and his crew. Giving her no chance to react he had taken her in his arms and kissed her deeply. His hands had traced her body as if recommitting the curve of it to memory. Neither one of them knew exactly what Hayden’staking it slowplan exactly meant, but they knew they didn’t want to mess anything up by going too fast.

"Tell me again, angel," Vic had whispered into her ear as he pinched her nipple through her shirt, relishing in her sharp cry.

Pushing her tender breasts further into his rough hands Sapphire ran her finger through his silky black hair and tugged him closer until their noses touched and they were looking directly into each other’s eyes. "I love you, Victor Ruiz. I think I've been saving room in my heart for you my whole life."

Vic stared at her. There was something awestruck in his expression that made time stop around them.

Kissing her until she was nothing but a trembling ball of need, Vic had gone back to the guys while she was left for the rest of the morning praying it all worked out between them.

Now as she stepped back inside the house, the guys were all coming out from three different sections of the house, each wearing fresh paint-free clothes and their faces and arms washed.

Coming down the stairs, Hayden caught her eyes and silently beckoned her in his open arms. "Okay, sweetheart. We're off to the bar. What are you going to do today?"

Burying her face in his hug, she savored the big strong feel of his body. "I'm gonna go back to the café and make some more cupcakes and then do some reading for class."

"You going to wait up for me?" he asked, his voice inviting and low.

She scrunched up her nose. "You came in so late last night. I don’t think I can stay awake that long. But you can certainly wake me up?"

His voice was quiet and intense when he spoke. "Sleep in my bed."

Hiding her face in his shirt, she knew he could feel her responding shiver. "Okay."

His hands at her waist pulled her in closer and she could feel the gentle rise of his length beneath his jeans. Sapphire had to lick her suddenly dry lips. She knew this was just the beginning stages and she could easily recall what his fully engorged cock felt like pressed against his jeans. Lord, how she wanted that now.

"Will you be naked for me?" Hayden pressed.

Tilting her head back, her heart seized at the primitive need in his eyes. Her breasts grew heavy and tender at the sight and she softened against him and answered in a small feminine voice only the three of them could ever make her use. "If you want me to."

"I want you to," he breathed.

Excitement hummed through her and she slid her hands over the rise of his hard chest feeling the firm little rise of his nipples as she slid them over his big shoulders and laced her fingers behind his neck.

"I wish we didn’t have to wait until tonight," she confessed, pressing her lips to his cheek just above the line of his beard.
