Chapter 17
"Gideon, don't," Jade cried feebly as his big hands spanned her waist and hoisted her up against the bathroom wall. "I said, I was sorry!"
Positioning himself at her wet entrance, Gideon nudged forward until she felt the blunt tip of his cock push into her slick entrance. Hooking one of her legs around his waist, Jade spread her other leg wider, accepting his girth despite her protest until he entered her with a deep groan. All night, he had made her pay for her actions, only allowing her a few hours here and there of sleep before he was turning her onto her stomach and lifting her hips to drive into her again.
"When I can get the sound of another man's name from your lips from my mind, then I will stop," he growled harshly in her ear.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, she kissed his temple before whispering soft, breathy cries of love against his hair as he began lifting and dropping her on his length. The strength of his thick biceps curled into massive knots at her sides only made her wetter. Jade grasped one bicep in her hand, reveling in the rippling motion of the muscles working beneath her hand as he moved her body against him.
Moving faster Gideon's sounds became animalistic as she felt him nearing them towards the edge. Thinking of Dimitri's words last night and the text message she got this morning, she pressed Gideon's face tighter against her bare breasts, shuddering at the feel of him taking a nipple between his teeth.
"I wish what he said was true," she gasped as the head of his cock pounded against her cervix. Dropping her own weight to make sure the tip of it kissed at her womb with each thrust, she let her head fall back against the tile wall as she rode him. "I want your babies, Gideon, I want to be pregnant."
"Oh fuck—fuck" Gideon gave a hoarse shout before reaching down to finger her clit.
Hot warmth shot inside of her as her body clenched tightly around him, milking him for every offered drop. With a few muttered curses, he jerked her limp body a few more times against him until the tremors subsided through them. Eventually, after minutes of shared ragged breaths, he let her sink to the floor on unsteady feet, and Gideon wrapped his arms around her. That morning Dimitri had sent her a text stating he did not actually mess with her birth control, and Jade couldn't help but find herself a little disappointed by the fact. Reading her thoughts, Gideon pushed back her hair and tilted her head back, placing a kiss on each eyelid.
"I love you, sweetheart, and we will have kids, but not now, ok?" Seeing her frown, he placed another consoling kiss on her pouty lips. "Right now, we got to figure out our own future and get us both through college. Once we're done and settled, I promise I'll fill you up," he gave her a wicked grin that only made her want to have him again.
When did she become so greedy?
Nodding, she took his hand and began to lead him to the shower.
Glancing at the digital clock shining through the mirror's silver surface Gideon gave her a cautionary look. "We have got less than an hour to shower—only shower," he added in warning, giving her a pointed look, "and to pack and leave here by noon. I don't want to give that…man," he paused, stopping himself from calling Dimitri a foul name, and Jade couldn’t help but laugh at his obvious restraint. "…any other excuse to fuck with us."
Nodding again, she grabbed his other hand and pulled him into the shower with her, giving him an innocent smile varnished with devious intent.
They were nearly late, a fact Gideon reminded her about no less than ten times as they strolled through the front doors of the hotel. Glad to be finally free, though secretly a little grateful for the experience, Jade followed Gideon to a taxi. Earlier, they had gotten a call from the mechanic telling them their truck was ready for pickup, but Gideon surprised her. Instructing the guy that they will come by tomorrow to pick it up, Gideon had ignored her questions and told her he had something else in mind for that day.
Sitting in the taxi, Jade watched as the black and gold hotel eventually loomed out of sight, taken over by other gigantic and ornate hotels as they passed them down the Las Vegas Strip. They had survived the Elysium, something she had every doubt of happening when they first got the cryptic note. Now, here she was sitting next to the man she loved in a completely different light than they were days before. All thanks to one foolish mistake and one very twisted man. Looking out the windows at the passing hotels, she smiled. Even in the daylight without all the lights, the strip was still lively as ever. People flowed in both directions down the street, their hands filled with bags and various frozen drinks nearly as tall as them. Beyond them, fountains gushed, and music played over the neon billboards, each one vying for people's attention. Making a swinging turn down a small driveway, the taxi stopped. Looking out the window, Jade's heart stopped at the sight of the building. Looking back to Gideon, he gave her a rare sheepish smile before handing a few bills to the driver. Urging her out of the car, they waited until the taxi pulled away, and they stood alone in front of the white chapel. It was a wedding hall.
"I called them this morning while you slept, to make an appointment," Gideon began, his eyes darting nervously to hers and to the white doors of the chapel. Taking her hands into his, Gideon gave her a searching look. "That is…if you want to," he said, letting the unspoken question hang in the air between them.
Tears welled in Jade’s eyes, and she shook her head, and she felt his grasp around her hands tighten.
"Oh no, I mean yes," she rushed with a tremulous laugh shaking her head again as she realized how she sounded. Smiling through her tears, she leaned her head against his chest and cried happily. "I just can't believe this is all happening. I'm…I'm so happy Gideon," she explained, feeling the tension in his body ease, and his arms come around her, wrapping her tight against him. Sighing with a bliss she could never put into words, she said the words they had both been waiting for. "Yes, please marry me."

Standing in the private dressing room dedicated to grooms, Gideon looked through the meager assortment of offered tuxes in his size. Most were either wildly tacky or for tall but portlier men. Stopping at the only one that seemed to be a viable option, Gideon dubiously eyed the tag's stated length of the pants.
"A man should have a tailor-made suit on his wedding day of all days," a voice behind him drawled.
Spinning around towards the familiar and dreaded voice, Gideon stood deathly still as he watched Dimitri walk languidly into the room. With a black garment bag draped over his right shoulder, only secured by the hook of his finger, the man's relaxed posture and lazy smile made it seem as if he were just taking a casual stroll. Only having seen the blonde bastard the one time in person, the man's lean good looks were forever twisted and marred in Gideon's mind. Now all Gideon could think of when he looked into the man's calculating blue eyes was the sound of his smooth voice whispering lurid commands in his and Jade's ears as the man watched.
Gideon scowled. "What are you doing here?"
Not looking at him, Dimitri's eyes scanned the faux wood paneling of the dressing room and the various other gaudy designs that tried too hard to convey a sense of manliness. "Stopping by to witness this joyous occasion you failed to invite me to," he answered, stopping to frown at the giant taxidermy bear standing in the corner of the room.
A scathing retort died on Gideon's tongue as he suddenly thought of Jade in the dressing room across from his.
Sliding those arctic blue eyes away from the bear, Dimitri caught his expression and smiled. "Don't worry, Jade is just fine. She should be receiving a garment box from the owner's wife as we speak."
Swinging the garment bag from over his shoulder, Dimitri held it out to Gideon.
Staring at the black bag, Gideon's mind raced as he tried to find the trick behind the man's actions. Recalling the first time they met in the hotel's casino, Gideon shot the blonde mobster a narrowed look. "And your goon, Dominic?" he questioned, praying the thug wasn't here or at least nowhere near Jade.
Dimitri chuckled and took another step forward, still holding the garment bag. Seeing little choice, Gideon accepted the proffered bag.
