“Opheliahas told me telepathically that she wants a pickle too.”
Lookingdown Gabriel arched one eyebrow at Olivia. “Did she now?”
Odettewas carefully counting her dimes out on the counter but still gave a nod inagreement with her sister. Suppressing a grin, he couldn’t wait to tell Saleneabout the can of worms she opened when she told the two girls about telepathy.
“Isee,” he leaned over Olivia and added two more dimes from his pocket toOdette’s pile. “Well, that is pretty amazing you could hear her considering…”
“HeyGabe,” Turning Gabriel looked to see Kevin standing off to the side. “Salenewould like a spicy pickle.”
“Itold you,” Olivia exclaimed with no lack of humility as she reached for her andher sister’s pickle.
“Yeahok I believe you,” Gabriel grabbed some more money from his pocket. “Go withyour uncle to cheer for Monica.”
Bothhis and Tobias’s daughters were playing on the same day. Since Monica was ayear younger she was on another team.
“Awwthat is sweet,” the lady behind him in line laughed. “You have triplets.”
LaughingGabriel smiled proudly as she caught sight of his girls following Kevin up thebleachers.
“Nonot exactly,” he corrected. “Those two are twins and the other is named butunborn sitting at seven months inside their mom.”
Thelady smiled, “You are so lucky.”
