I didn’t know what I could possibly talk to him about, especially after that tense moment earlier, but I was already padding across the room, my bare feet silent against the soft rugs. Cracking the door open, I slipped out and crept down the hallway.

The penthouse was blanketed in darkness, but the soft moonlight streaming through the windows chased some of the shadows away. I felt like a thief in the night, although technically I wasn’t. Right? I was a guest here, if nothing else.

Gosh, how was it possible for life to change so much in one night?

Glancing around, I listened intently for any sounds, but I heard nothing. I was about to give up when I spotted a strip of light peeking out from under the door at the end of the hallway.

Once I reached it, I pressed up against it but still heard nothing. Poking my head through the gap, I found the room empty, vintage lamps flickering on either side of the table.

I tiptoed farther, and it was only then that the sound of the shower registered. I froze, my head snapping to the right. The bathroom door was barely cracked, but the sound of water was unmistakable.

Look and you shall find, my mind mocked.

I swallowed hard as my pulse sped up. I knew I should leave, yet the little devil on my shoulder urged me on. Aiden had come into my bathroom while I showered, so it was only fair.

Do it. Just a peek, the devil whispered.

I stood with my eyes glued to the bathroom door, simultaneously wishing it would turn opaque and praying he would never know I was here.

“Fuck…”

Aiden’s groan echoed and I froze for a heartbeat before my legs moved of their own volition.

And there he was.

My fully naked husband, his bulky, sinewy muscles illuminated by the soft overhead lights. Andfuck me, look at that ass. That was the best-looking ass I had ever seen. Not that I’d seen many, but I digress.

Aiden’s forearm was propped against the shower wall, his other hand wrapped tight around his thick, hard length. The water cascaded down his big body, running in rivulets down the curves and dips of his back. He looked like a wild god, ready to offer me, a mere mortal, all the pleasure in the world.

An inferno burst through me as I imagined us in the shower together. My insides clenched and fire burned in the pit of my stomach.

I leaned forward and the door opened wider, giving me a full view. My breath hitched.

Jesus Christ, this much hotness should be illegal.

I’d never seen something so fucking beautiful. So erotic.

My mouth watered watching him jerk off.

A part of me wanted to strip off my clothes and join him. But then what? I had no clue what to do with all of that.

But he’d know what to do with all of you, taunted that damn devil again.

Ignoring the inappropriate thought, I settled on admiring his slick, glistening skin. His bicep flexed with each pump of his cock, his movements jerky. Back and forth, up and down. Braced against the wall, his muscles tensed as his hips thrust forward, faster and harder.

In my mind, I could already imagine how it would feel to have him thrust into me. Mercilessly. Fast. Rough. Rutting like a beast.

I clenched my thighs, my core throbbing with the need to take what this man offered. My breathing became erratic, matching Aiden’s from across the bathroom.

“Fuck… yeah…”

I didn’t breathe. I didn’t blink. I just stood there and watched, mesmerized, as he came with a guttural moan that set me aflame.

I gasped. His head turned my way and our eyes locked, his gaze hungry and mine wide with curiosity.

Time froze.

I debated bolting, but it was too late. I’d been caught red-handed and there was no point in pretending otherwise. So I stayed.
