He was frowning.

Not good.

“I don’t know.” He clearly didn’t like having to admit that. “We’re going to ignore it.”

Good plan.

“And we’re going to remember that the doorbell didn’t scare the piss out of me.” That wasn’t how we were going to frame my first time using the diaper.

Snorting, Bastian curled over me and buried his face in my hair. “Deal. Because I was a really good Dom in this scene and was going to make you come.”

“That’s what we’re going to remember here. Diaper time. Orgasm. And how romantic it was to cuddle with you.” Yes, that was a much better memory. “You were amazing.”

Shaking, he managed not to laugh out loud or snort again but he had to work at it before he could get words out. “You were sexy as hell and had the biggest orgasm. I’m going to remember being the best Dom ever.”

“And we’re going to remember how much I like being held down.” I’d never had anyone do that in bed and just the feeling of being helpless without actually being completely stuck was fabulous. “Definitely a do-again.”

Snickering, he shook his head but it was more of ayou’re so ridiculouskind of thing. “I’m glad we both agree on thatpart, but we’ll have to find other ways of exploring it. I haven’t claimed my omega yet.”

Oh.

Being bent over and—

For fuck’s sake.

“Again?”

This was getting ridiculous, and while Bastian’s frown was actually kind of sexy, he agreed with me. “Fucking hell.”

“Bastian!” We both winced as my mother’s voice came through the window at the front of the house. “What’s wrong with Orlando? Is he sick?”

“Good grief.” What fresh hell had I landed in? “Tell me that I’m still asleep. Please?”

“I’m sorry. I’ll lie to you when it’s appropriate but this isn’t one of those times.” His sigh and ridiculous answer almost made me laugh. “She might actually come through the window and you need to understand the reality we’re dealing with.”

She would.

“I think it’s time to change my clothes, Daddy.” I wasn’t sure I was dressed right to deal with her kind of crazy and Bastian’s groan said he realized that. I didn’t like the way his mood was shifting, though, so I wiggled and aimed to look cute again. “I’m not sticky but I don’t know how to describe it.”

Chuckling, Bastian tried to look serious but he failed at it. “Don’t distract me.”

“Hmm?” Cocking my head, I gave him a very well-done confused expression. “I can’t distract you now, Daddy. But I can be a good distraction after I let you save the day.”

Shaking his head, he leaned down and kissed my nose. “Your family is insane.”

Yep.

Because she was still a nuisance and was calling out for Bastian.

“Stubbornness is a good trait and the way we hyperfocus means I won’t cheat or ever want to leave you.” My helpful answer had him rolling his eyes. “I can promise that I’m not as nuts as she is, though.”

He narrowed his gaze at me and raised one eyebrow. “You’ve got your own brand of interesting, Trippy.”

Hmm.

That needed another innocent face. “Me? No, Daddy.”

I gave him a cheek kiss before he straightened, but he was all business before I could figure out my next strategy.
